So what happened to that "Warded" ping?

Riot, weren't you working on a new ping to tell teammates when a ward is present (or suspected)? Whatever happened to that? Was it a waste of time or something?

When did they say they were working on it? I've seen a dozen times where people linked a photoshop picture of a player made radial, and Rioters said it was a good idea, but that's it.

At one point on PBE, there were files that hinted toward a Warded ping, but they were removed.
