just watched another stream of a challenger player laning vs pantheon and his only response was

"well its pantheon so you cant really do much of anything" and "its frustrating as hell"

so can someone tell me why hes allowed to be like this? pantheon is a more annoying version of renekton but with more damage

a pantheon with ignite will not lose a 1v1 lane.

please dont respond with "ask for help" because you're GOING to get those junglers that refuse to gank lanes much less help your ass so what else can you do?

PLEASE dont say wait for him to run out of mana because by the time he runs out of mana with corrupting potion you're going to have recalled or died once already.

that champion needs to either get reworked or have his numbers reduced.

im so glad there arent more panth 1 tricks in my elo else i would have just quit the lane.

i KNOW hes not op but his laning surely is about as one sided as the games in league of legends right now.

with games ending before 25 minutes the "just wait for late game" bullshit doesnt actually work anymore.

he wins lane and u become useless while he roams and takes all the towers he can and by then the game is over.

Lane Bullies exist. They fall off hard when it goes late and if you go even, they basically lost lane because they're supposed to get a lead. It's what a lane bully is supposed to do. Renekton is another. Jayce too

there is no late game in season 7.

games usually get decided by 25 minutes.

pantheon wins lane roams mid and bot or whatever and by then the game is decided.

jayce is banned 100 percent if i have the ban choice.

renekton u can actually play vs if u just miss cs in order to avoid his damage.

The same can be said about Renekton, Darius and all the other lane bullies. The difference between them and Pantheon is that Pantheon has absolutely no powerspike at level 6 while basically every other champ does. His ult is basically just utility while the champ i play will have a great ult for fighting. I have no issue playing against Pantheon because even though I know I'll get behind early I'll easilly outscale the guy hard as fuck. In my match history on the account I've been playing on recently half of the games were over 30 minutes and the other half were past 25 mins, around 27. Mid-late game is a thing, despite what you want to believe. I mean out of your last 20 games you actually have around five 40+ min games.

it doesn't matter. Does that mean we should make all hyper carries become hyper carries by the 25 min mark instead of the usual 3540 min mark? should we make early game champions fall of as soon as the 10 min mark is reached? The game is supposed to be around 3045 mins and champions powerspikes are based around that.

Games last a little longer than 25 minutes unless you are in some really bad games.

As for Pantheon, I have never laned against him because I don't do top. But in team fights late game he seems pretty worthless except as a damage soaker. His TP Ult is nice but hell, i have melted Pantheons as Sona before....

as i said man, the chances of both teams playing SMART for 40 minutes have become very low.

its either we stomp or they stomp us by 25 one team has given up. panth early game is just so fucking frustrating becuase just KNOWING you can do anything in the 1v1 is obnoxious.

add that in with a jungler that camps his duo in another lane as u suffer in a lane where u get dove by a panth elise every 2 seconds and STILL end up losing is just tilt worthy.

panth is way too rewarding for how easy he is to play.

I will agree I do see more ff at 20 these days. And... You know what, I agree about the playing Smart thing too.

Sometimes I wonder why I play League these days lol....

Yeah, Panth has become like Trynd. Trynd is a godlike splitpusher because he can't do anything else. Even if a Trynd is 1/9, he can still mow your towers down like they aren't even there. This isn't healthy behavior, but it's not something that can be solved with mere number tweaks either. It need serious work done to the abilities.

Panth is in the same situation. He either snowballs and gets ahead or becomes a glorified melee minion with a stun in mid/late game. So Riot has to dump a lot of power into his laning so that he has a chance to snowball on just about anyone. In return, he falls off later on. And I don't mean "His damage falls off but he has a whole lot of utility to make himself useful still" like a Lee. A Panth that didn't snowball is barely even a champion anymore when the game reaches a certain point in mid game.

he doesn't seem like much of a problem when i play someone like Sion or swain. but it could also be because i am in bronze and they might not know how to use him as well in the match up?

im looking for a way that isnt "wait for his mana bar to go down" or "wait for a gank"

He is most definitely less annoying than renekton, if only so because his stun is not instant and because he can't dash 900 units away the moment he sees your jungler.
