For those stuck in silver or bronze

If you are stuck in silver or bronze, but would like to be a higher rank I just wanted to remind you their is hope. I have leveled two accounts to gold this season playing mostly solo and multiple roles. The only thing limiting yourself from ranking up is you. There are many guides and strategies out there on how to rank up written by players much more knowledgeable than myself. The only advice I have is knowledge is power. The more your learn about this game and the more you play the better you become. This is obvious but many of us casual players take this obvious advice for granted. So when high elo players provide us advice and give us tips its good to listen.

Anyways, happy grinding. Don't tilt. Don't give up.

for a lot of players bronze and silver is just impossible lmao, if you're a decent player matchmaking will fuck you and just give you feeders. ranked isn't really how good you are it's how good the team you have is

Hey thanks for this post! It's good to be reminded to never give up and to do your best every game. Don't let your dreams be dreams. :3

Something I've tried out to get better is playing practice custom games against better players 1:1 to improve my farming, poke and positioning. If you can find a better player willing to give you a little bit of time and you have an open mind, it's really very helpful.

Alternatively, if you watch your own games after you finish playing them you can often see things you did wrong that you didn't notice while playing (for instance, last time I was watching myself play I was like "why do I keep running in the same circles? that's really predictable"). In the heat of the moment it's hard to see what could be improved, but I find there are a lot of things I can see if I watch the match again later. Try to focus on your actions only though, because that's all you can realistically control.

This is hilarious, the op tries to help the baddies and they just keep saying "no no its not me it's my team!"

If you can't solo carry out of Bronze then guess what? You belong there.

Something I try to tell my friends who are low elo is: Skill does not exist in this game at all. It is simply knowledge. If you accept your mistakes and try to correct them (AKA better yourself) you will be climbing in no time. "Skill" has no effect on if you win or lose if you know what you can and can't do, when you can do it, and what the enemies can do, then you should win a lot more of your games.

Just get Dynamic Queue boosted. Ranks mean nothing in Season 6.

Fantastic Let me make sure I have the necessary things to climb.

A reason why a lot of players are stuck in low elo is because match making fucks them up. When you are on a winning spree, if your skill is higher than your rank it gets easier and easier to win because you are getting matched with people who has higher mmr/rank instead of the boosted animals you normally matched with. But if your winning spree ends, your immediately start getting matched with people who are in much lower mmr/rank than the ones you previously matched with, and it tilts people more than anything.

Also the amount of lp given when you win after a losing spree is so little. It takes much longer to get your mmr back to normal after a losing spree than a winning spree.(~5 wins to get rid of losing spree lp punishment, ~2 loses to get rid of all the winning spree lp reward)

I used to think getting to gold was an impossible goal, but then i made it this season. Im currently around Silver 2 due to a long long losing streak from afks, ragers, and just bad luck. Im grinding my way back up, and believe I will make it back to gold before the season ends. Its all about your mindset. You're only as good as you limit yourself to be. My advice, if you start to tilt due do a losing streak, take a break and do something else for awhile. You'll have better games on average when you're in a positive state of mind.

If you don't mind me asking, roughly how long did each take and where did you place in provisionals? I full well plan to climb to atleast gold this season but I haven't had time to play because of school.
