Daily Reminder: Do Not Flame Your Team
Had a pretty funny case of team flaming two games ago. The game was kind of weird from the start (thanks dynamic queue) where I being Gold v was the highest ranked player on my team. The rest of my team was silver 2 . VS 1 gold 2, 2 gold 4s, 1 silver 1, and 1 silver 3 player. So at first I am like "huh weird... we must have a premade". The other weird thing was the enemy team had
jungle - the silver 3 player. Now this is the first time I have seen
jungle so I instantly assumed this guy was smurfing. Turns out he was a diamond smurf.
Anyways my top laner
starts game off getting wrecked by
top. Somehow my
mid is losing lane hard to
mid (literally cho was over double his cs for a good part of the game) and our bot lane
&
getting destroyed by
. I am also behind in farm as the enemy jungle
is constantly in my jungle taking creeps and every time I try to fight his top or mid lane came to help.
I was jungle
As you can guess the pings for help started coming right away along with the flaming from our adc. I stuck to jungle farming with occasionally ganking where I thought we could get some picks and eventually we started to catch up. Around 40 min we got baron and aced the enemy team. We grabbed mid inhibitor and started focusing on bot lane when I pinged Elder Dragon. I knew better than to overstay but for whatever reason we kept pushing and grabbed bot inhib tower. Enemy team ended up re-spawning, we tried to fight, got aced and lost the game.
After game our jinx says the only reason we lost is because our top laner and "our retarded jungler". Knowing I had one of my best Vi jungle games in awhile I had to laugh. I originally muted jinx around the 15 min mark because the dude was so toxic so those were the first words I saw from them in post game lobby. I looked at stats and I had 2nd best k/d/a on team (14-7-12), most damage done to enemy team, and most damage taken. Now.... if you are going to flame your team... you really should not flame the person with those stats.
I know there was some missed gank opportunities and I made other mistakes. But overall I was happy with my performance. Not sure why that Jinx was so salty but I honestly hate people like that. Not only was their attitude terrible, but their adc skills as well.
Before you flame your team next game think to yourself "am I currently ranked #1 in challenger?" Because if not (even if you are) I am sure you have mad a handful of mistakes as well that your team is not flaming you for because their not Jerks.
