Ryze's new passive makes more sense on his old kit

The new passive would've been great with the old kit because to get the shield you have to actually risk moving into range to build up stacks. You'd have to have quick fingers and a solid plan to engage, and if you play your cards right the shield might kick in just in time to win you the trade.

Now that his q is a skillshot he can just build up 5 at anytime.

It really removes a lot of potentially interesting gameplay interaction..
