Veigar needs nerfs

I don't understand why it is okay for him to be able to one hit people, not even with his ultimate. If any other champ one hit you as hard as he does, on a regular basis, they would be nerfed to kingdom come. Why is it okay for him to one hit you? Its not like his cc gate takes long to cool down and with all the new cd items its up every few seconds. Why is it okay for him to one hit people, especially with his broken gate. There isn't even tenacity in this game to get out of it in time before he hits you. Why is okay for him to literally be able to 1 hit three or more people?

He's the male version of Annie. Both need insane nerfs. Can 100-0 people with 2 non ultimate abilities. The only thing wrong with your discussion is that no- Veigar can't 1shot- he needs at least two abilities for squishies, three for tanks. Top it all off with an inevitable 2.5s stun in an enormous hitbox, and you've got Veigar and Annie.

Side note: Veigar can eventually start one-shot anything... Given that a game gets stalled long enough for him to continually stack his Phenomenal Evil Power passive. Veigar is essentially the king of ability based one shots due to his infinite AP growth throughout a game. Very few other champions can do such insane burst like him that are Mages. Syndra makes a very close runner up due to how her ultimate works with enough setup.

Well, he does alot of damage, but only if the enemy, you in this case, is a really bad player. His stun is very unreliable, which means his meteor will never hit the enemy if they arent rooted somehow (or the enemy is braindead) Also 1 hit? with the execute ult or q? (sarkasm)

No really, don't blame a champion because you aren't able to adapt to the enemy team, every halfway decent player is able to counter a Veigar through various means.

This just shows what elo you would need to play for that to happen. If you get actually stunned by the Veigar then it is your own lack of any kind of reflex/awareness and skill.

Jeah that is your opinion... it's crazy that the whole LCS and nearly every other player don't have a problem fighting him... His winrate is under 49% (now after he got buffed) but hey... he 1 hit 3 people and stuned them at once (because they run into the stun) soo jeah broken...

He does the one of the most theoretically since he is infinitely scaling also your summoner icon is the final boss Veigar one so.

You should see their FEK Avatar, it looks even better.

Anyways Veigar is one of the Burst mages... Essentially THE hardest hitting burst mage if a game goes on long enough. Harass him early and make sure to make getting any passive stacks early a pain in the ass, really makes it hard on him later to do much of anything later in the game.

Well, late game he can have one of the highest bursts, but there are many other champions that can one shot + more

I have stated my thoughts as an experienced Veigar Player, and I will state them again for the record.

Veigar does not need to be nerfed, but rather his passive needs to be either reverted to Mana Regen or given a new one entirely.

He should still be rewarded for stacking a passive on minions, he should still be rewarded for taking down a champion, and yes that does mean putting that single part of the passive back on his Q where it belongs.

He should not be rewarded for the reliability of poke to mindlessly cast spells at his opponent over the skill of a risky skillshot to minions.

I do not say this because I dislike Veigar. I love the little maniac. He is my second highest Mastery next to Ryze. I say this because with his passive as it is now, he will inevitably be gutted and left for dead by Riot.
