Shyvana Q doesn't proc Phase Rush twice
despite counting as two basic attacks

It was but i couldn't select it.
toby mcteague2 votesBecause its coded as one attack or spell. Its one spell. Same reason why ashe doesnt proc it instantly.
Syndras case also. Each of the soheres on her ult count as one spell. Sivir can only spell shield one of the spheres not all. If she gets hit by 7 ball, she gets hit by a 6.
But since it comes from one ability, a single abilty, it will not proc phase rush.

I think Ashe Q is just one attack with 5 mini hits, but its really just an empowered attack.
You make a good point for Renektin though. He can instant proc PTA, but I also think Shyvana can add 2 stacks too.
I believe the runes behave different in terms of how theybare procced. I could be wrong tho. There may be some inconsistency going on.

Twin Bite is 1 ability coded into a double attack.
I think Yi's double strike doesn't proc it either.
