Looks like Renekton is still a trash tier champion

Renekton's issue late game are not his numbers but rather his kit. So instead of artificially trying to buff his late game (which will do nothing for him) why not try and buff his early game a little so he can perform better against certain champions that are supposed to be "late game" ?

Just give his Q +5 damage on level 1 and remove 1 second from his 18 second cd gap closer and improve him from there. Giving him +30 damage on emp Q at 20th minute does nothing, he either lost or won the game by that point.

As someone who joined the game back in S3...I still have nightmares about laning against Renekton to this day. He prolly needs some help, since I don't see him a day in my life anymore, but God damn am I glad about that lol.

The problem is that Renektons identity has always been a very strong early game bully, and a threatening midgame bruiser. Who falls off into a mostly distracting slightly squishy tank late game.

But games are so cut short and condensed, that where Renekton's power is supposed to be has been so compressed, and the game has introduced so many mechanics to overcome a bad early game that nothing you do to Renekton is going to fix him until the game changes as a whole.

Any changes that happen to him are simply going to either bounce off and be ineffective OR be very overtuned and suddenly he is going to be pick/ban and we will have a Renekton-Barrier to toplane like we did in S2-3.
