@Riot @Meddler : I improved Syndra
What riot promised:
What we’re happy with:
1. Syndra’s interactions with Dark Spheres give her a unique combo feel => Success and Fail (we have to wait lvl 13 to get her "full combo")
2. She’s an imminent threat that forces opponents to react to her as more Spheres pop up => Sucess
What we’re less happy with:
1. Transcendence feels lame and forgetful compared to her fantasy’s promise of ultimate power => Big Fail, you add nothing except 2 or three spheres for ultimate thanks to W.
What we hope to see coming out of the update:
1. Give her passive some visceral power that Syndra can feel excited about => ** Success......or not.......**
2. Follow-through on the promise of making her abilities evolve to allow stronger play-making =>** Fail because it's "abilities" not "one ability". W I mean**
I created something that is closer to this description: Numbers represent nothing, they are examples. Judge only content. I wanted make Syndra more strategic in every state of the game and not become a bad Veigar's generics.
Q: Dark Sphere Cost: 45/50/55/60/70Mana Range: 800 Syndra conjures a Dark Sphere dealing magic damage. The sphere remains and can be manipulated by her other powers. Conjures a Dark Sphere dealing 60/100/130/170/210 (+55% Ability Power) magic damage. The sphere remains for 5/5.5/6/7/8 seconds and can be manipulated by Syndra's other abilities. This spell can be cast while moving.
Transcendance: Rank 1-5: Spheres deal damage 2/5/7/15/30 (10% max from E passive) around the field every second. ( Range: 70/80/90/100/110) Rank 5: When a sphere disappears, it detonates and deals damage for 20% (+10% max from E passive) of the initial spell.
Spheres remain longer at max level but scale with level! Spheres DOT make syndra more strategic when she uses her Q especially in teamfight. When Syndra uses her ultimate in teamfight, she makes a small DOT area with each sphere. Max rank strengthen this mechanics. Q detonation can be used with W or E when sphere disappears. In the same way, R makes a minefield.
W: Force of Will Cost: 60/65/70/80/90 Mana Range: 1000 Syndra picks up and throws a Dark Sphere or enemy minion dealing magic damage and slowing the Movement Speed of enemies. First Cast: Grabs target Dark Sphere or enemy minion. If no target is selected, grabs nearest Dark Sphere. Second Cast: Throws the Dark Sphere or enemy minion. Enemies hit take 80/120/150/180/230 (+60% Ability Power) magic damage and are slowed by 15/20/25/30/40%** +(0% (E passive: 1% give you 0,33%)** for 1.5 seconds. This spell can be cast while moving.
Transcendance: **Rank 1-5: Sphere attract when hit the ground (Diana like "E") Only for W ** **Rank 5: When syndra select herself, she takes flight and her power become unstable. Syndra is root. (For 5 sec max) ** • Dark sphere: Syndra unleashes a dark sphere, creating shockwave that travels out among the enemies. Deals only damage • Scatter the weak: Syndra now can charge her spell in long range • Unleashed power: Syndra can bombard an area in long range.
Strengthen Q (DOT + detonation) with W. Max rank is an idea not finished. I create a good counterplay with a "root for 5 seconds" but I have no idea how to improve it. Max rank would give to syndra new abilities (for Q, E and R) in long range but weakened in rooting her.
E: Scatter the Weak Cost: 45/50/55/60/65 Mana Range: 600 Syndra knocks enemies and Dark Spheres back dealing magic damage. Enemies hit by Dark Spheres become stunned. Knocks enemies and Dark Spheres back dealing 70/115/160/205/250 (+40% Ability Power) magic damage to them and any enemies they collide with. Dark Spheres that are knocked back stun all enemies in their path for 1.5 seconds.
Transcendance: Rank 1-5: Syndra increased her power in killing enemies. (Gain 1% by 10 minions killed and 2% by champions on each spells’ratios, EXCEPT ulti) She scatter the weak now with a limitless power. Rank 5: Syndra can reactivate the spell to recall spheres to her (Spheres whish collide champions are draged away on a small range.) Width increased
Syndra does not gain ability power like Veigar but gain % ratio on every spells in killing minions or champions.(Except ultimate only, not ultimate passive)(Consequently I decreased some ratios) "Recall spheres" is a strong combo with E directly or R
R: Unleashed Power Cost: 100 Mana Range: 700 Syndra bombards an enemy Champion with all of her Dark Spheres. Draws upon Syndra's full cataclysmic power, harnessing all Dark Spheres to deal magic damage to target enemy Champion. Unleashed Power manipulates the three Dark Spheres orbiting Syndra, in addition to Dark Spheres previously created. Damage per sphere: 90/120/150(+40% Ability Power). Minimum total damage: 270/390/480 (+55% Ability Power).
Transcendance: Rank 1-3: Each spheres deal more damages on each abilities 0,5%/1%/2% hpmax in magic damage. Rank 3: Spheres falling on the ground deal damage and slow down enemy champions by 5%(+0%)
Syndra can deal with tank! Every spheres or abilities deal in %hpmax ( Spheres DOT and detonation apply this effect)
