Yorick isn't even a bad champion. I'll help prove it to you right now? ;)

Yorick is really good, nobody plays him though, he doesn't die and has insane sustain, but he doesn't really kill much unless you all in with your wraiths.

I just carried a game with Yorick 11/0/7 with nearly 200 farm. I mained him in ranked, and while normally I can't win games unless I personally carry, it is quite possible to do very well with Yorick, particularly in lane. If you play him well, the only champions I've had issues with against him are Gnar (mostly due to mega gnar, mini gnar is useless against Yorick except to constantly try to keep him off farm which is still pretty useless until mega gnar comes out) and Lee Sin. Most everyone else I can beat down hard in lane. If you really want to be good though, you've got to master his team fighting, and the bad part about that one is that most people assume he's a tank, but he's actually a high dps healer. You build him with some damage first, get him nice and ahead, and then you build a little tank, and finish off with a little more damage if you're carrying, or a little more tank if not. post lvl 11 you can ult your primary carry and walk into team fights like a boss. The biggest thing to make sure of as a Yorick player is stay alive, spam ghouls, watch mana. Yorick is best played kind of in between tanks and carries (you don't want to take upfront burst damage as him, and you want to also stay close to the carries to ult one either before a fight or before they die).
