Hi Riot, I don't think you are aware as to why Ember Spirit's ult works in Dota

AM6OZero··4 votes·1,101 views

And not in League

it's because global teleports, TP scrolls, 1000 range blinks, Disruptor's glimpse forcestaff exist in that game, to counter global instant mobility

In league, all a non mobile hero can do is use a 300 second spell cooldown to blink 250 range

Holy shit Riot do you never learn, People in League have begged you to stop making super flashly mobile champions, and you continously give them the middle finger. At least introduce a forcestaff or something.

Because they don't have a summoner spell that gives you the ability to teleport either, right?

There's nothing wrong with this sort of a thing as long as it's done in good measure, and as I assume you're talking about Rek'Sai's ult, I believe hers is as well. It doesn't do any damage, it doesn't have any sort of special effects outside of a brief MS boost, it just gets her from one place to another. And in a way that a player knows it could happen; if you're alone, at low health, you probably shouldn't stand near one of her tunnels. She can't pop out anywhere, you know the places she's going to come out from just like you know when someone is TPing to a minion or a turret, and just like you know where Twisted Fate is about to ult so you can point all your CC at him.

This just gives new avenues for playstyles, engaging fights, or strategy when pushing. That's it. If you don't like mobile champions, get first pick and ban them. If mobility was really such an issue, champions who had high mobility would rule the rift, but they don't. They're strong when played well, just like anyone else, but easy to whiff because of it.

oh look a 200 second CD spell to counter an ult

In dota a Teleport scroll has a cooldown of 30 seconds

lol @ your response

"if you dont like mobility, ban them"

oh boy, I can really tell the quality of the average League of Legends player has gone down severely since 2011

protip, all the champions picked at worlds had super high mobility

Because Jarvan is such a high mobility champion, right?

Point here is that you don't know how to handle something that most players seem to be able to take care of well enough. Nobody can surprise you with their globals, you know it's coming. You have plenty of time to avoid whatever it is, so if you walk into an Ashe arrow or wait around at low health for that Twisted Fate you can see coming for you it's your own fault. Funny that you'd talk about the quality of the average League player when you don't seem to be skilled enough to avoid painfully obvious ults.

If the best you've got is to resort to insulting the skill of a player that you've never played either with or against based on your own inability to handle a part of the game, you aren't bringing up a problem. You are the problem.

Oh look, now you're basing it on rank. How quaint. By all means, keep playing to the stereotype and giving insults instead of insight.

So why aren't you playing DOTA then? I really don't understand these posts where someone rants about how much better DOTA is. If it was really this magical paradise of an MOBA people make it out to be, you'd be playing that instead of complaining in the League forums.

Silence and stuns exist to be big plays and stop players like Ember.

Tho i agree LoL mobility creep is getting pretty out of control. They should strip out the MS steriods and gap closers (except for a certain class of heroes that need it). Thusly making flash not a mandatory spell and removed from the game.

Then you can introduce items like force and blink dagger.

Here's a thought, uninstall League and go play Dota instead.
