Kindred buff/change to passive.

Simple change that I believe would make it more fair. Kindred's passive should have wolf mark her camps instead of the enemys.

Reasons:

1st its a champion passive meant to give them an advantage in game, currently its a double edged sword placing high risk for min reward. 2nd It would make countering her slightly harder as she would be able to farm her stacks more safely in her jungle rather than the enemys, forcing the enemy jungler to envade. Again champion abilitys are meant to help not hender. 3rd Even with stacks she isnt the strongest pick. However without stacks she's the weakest jug possible. Her whole kit and build revolves around stacks. So making them easyier and safer will make her more balanced than weak early game.

Conclusion : Kindred is a really fun champion that suffers from a I believe 3% play rate. This is due to her being a bottom teir jungler. While I do not believe this change to make her a god tier champion, I do believe this slight buff will not make her OP, but more playable. Yes you can play kindred currently and have a good game with her. Its just really hard. Harder than other jugs. This will make clearing and early game more effective and better transition into mid and late game. It will work bc she'll actually have some stacks not many but a few. Also for people that don't play her consider having one on your team thats behind and giving enemy jug kills because she tried to get a stack. Now you have a fed hec, vi, or Kha coming into your lane and they could careless about your tower. Because no matter how weak she maybe currently someone just might player her, and you'll suffer bc of it.

Those stacks should be hard to get. If kin can take 16 stacks they will deal 20% of your current health on AA. If there wasn't so much counter play, and she reliably got that crazy shit, then she would penta every game.

You need to understand kindred before trying to shit a number like 16 out. She can never get 16 stacks in the jungle. I forget the max but its 5 or 6

after which all stacks come from ganks

tack downs to be more accurate, she can easily get 6 before mid game where the rest is team fighting. The current recommendation item with NO actual value on her performance in jungle or in lane is: item 3085, now why is this here? her passive is not on hit. The AS is minimally beneficial. Why is it recommended? So she can literally 'touch' more targets, it's to set off the assists on that mark. That MEANS that right now, she has no prowess to fighting 1v1. her ganks require ASSISTS. before level 6, they have the highest damage output, after wards, they have nothing but small touches and light kiting. I'll tell you what. You buy item 3033 and try to mark all the tanks, they hate your damage THEN! (behind your own tanks XD)

Zane Zephyr2 votes

Uh...the passive is on hit, and the AS scales extremely well with that because it's %HP damage...and their dueling potential is pretty damn good, what are you even talking about?

Omen461 votes

early game dueling, yes but all the same it's not hard to lose a duel. and no, it is not an on hit affect so these items don't affect it:item 3085 item 3124. rather it is a bonus to their q-w- and auto attack. So the bonus is more like: item 3057 than item 3153. it can't

Dude...Are you forreal...

INNATE: Both Lamb and Wolf mark targets to hunt. Scoring a takedown on a marked target permanently empowers Lamb's basic attacks to deal 1.25% of her target's current health as bonus on-hit physical damage, capped at 75 (+ 10 per stack) against monsters, stacking with each Mark consumed.

Mark of the Kindred's passive is an on-hit effect.

If it applies to their basic attacks, then it's an on hit effect...What the fuck are you on?

And also devourer kindred was a top tier jungler before devourer got removed...And hurricane is a must buy because you have max and current% HP damage that will spread to multiple targets...lol...

Omen461 votes

not on hit, "enhances" with "extra damage" not on hit. why must HAVE the quote but obviously not read. it's not on hit.

Zane Zephyr1 votes

you are an idiot, I am sorry

IT LITERALLY SAYS IT DOES BONUS DAMAGE ON HIT.

Omen461 votes

it does not. and you've been aggressive and quite rude the whole chat along with the fact all caps doesn't change a thing. this is my last post. I'm done arguing with a fool over something so stupid. Go have fun in whatever stupid way you want that is not being such a punk online.

passive only comes with stacks.... which early game u wont have... so no passive your squishy and vunable to cc bc your an adc in the jungle. which means dueling is shit, with low base ad. but other than that your correct.

Hell AS is the only thing i build on her. and yeah i've went 25/4/7 carrying a game. But its bronze, and i've had many games where i couldnt do shit. Every game that happens in is one where my marks are cleared early game. which does different things. 1st i waste time going there, 2nd takes me longer to farm, 3rd makes my ganking horriable as i wont have the items or stacks to gank really. Cant tell you how many times i've seen a bastard marked and run away with below 20% hp and bc i'm squishy and slow bc of item 3006 I cant catch them. no since in trying. Just tickle them down and run off and try to farm more.

one: it is physical damage with it falling in the, 100 armor 50% physical damage reduction. two: as he said it forced enemies to invade, which many would do anyway as such it just means more to fight for three: she STILL has no form of cc meaning she can't 1v5 like say, Vayne or Draven at the moment. it would rely on her working with her team and fighting a good fight while still being a capable and sustainable champion.

given that Nasus Sion Veigar all have stacking skills that go on MUCH less than a simple hunt every 1-2 minutes and that half MY hunts get stuck on rift heralds and barons before i hit stack 7, i find not only no problem with this but a clear indication that warding become one of the most important aspect to fighting kindred which is more than can be said about: Amumu Fiddlesticks Zac Rengar Gragas Khazix LeeSin MasterYi Rammus Skarner RekSai Shaco Teemo

That isn't the right way to go about her, they actually made the passives harder to get because of how OP it was before. While I do think swinging it back into neutrality is the correct way to go about it " Your raptors, enemy raptors, and scuttles" rather than just enemy raptors or scuttles for the first few would go a long way making it only your jungle would be too strong.

TheFallenShaw1 votes

Putting the stacks from her side to the enemys did not change her from OP to weak. Which she currently is, I'm not the only one saying it many diamond and master youtube players say it as well. That's why she's not played bc she's to weak. things were nerfed not just moved. Moveing them to her side would buff her slightly. Plus its a passive meant to give an advantage to the champion not the enemy.

TheFallenShaw1 votes

Currently to counter Kindred. you can play any jug and simply farm your own jungle. there is no counter play for her in that.

Zane Zephyr1 votes

And if youre sitting there farming your jungle to stop kindred from getting a few stacks, that means you're leaving your lanes wide open for ganks and other objectives for taking, because you know they can get stacks from takedowns right?

Omen462 votes

Blitzcrank- mark my adc? come and get her!

Kled- just made 3 kills! AAAW YA skaarl! guess what!? the kindred just marked us! are you ready for more gold!?

Veigar- just try me bitch... i'm not rank 7 for nothing

TheFallenShaw1 votes

doesn't take long to clear your jungle, or in counter kindred example your using clearing 1 camp ever so often. it does not leave lanes as open as you think, nor objectives. Early game is the only time it affects. And usually pre 6. which dragon isnt took often before, baron isnt up, and almost no one gets rift. So lane opening, so on the 50% chance that 1 your laner is pushing and wining lane, 50% chance of you being on that side of the map to counter and another 50% chance of the mark being on that side of the jungle and a 50% chance kindred will gank or get the stack. Yeah your right it would leave your laner open. but ill never flip 4 quarters and expect all tobe heads. So your talking about a rare ocasion at best.

Omen462 votes

I like that better. Let it be in BOTH jungles instead of her own so the enemy doesn't ALWAYS have to counter jungle to stay safe of kindred Kindred

TheFallenShaw1 votes

Please before you comment and Vote no, Acutally know what the Passive does. As we already have two people have commented not even knowing the champions abilitys. I will call you out if you are wrong. I can accept people saying she's fine but, seriously saying she can get 16 stacks out of a jungle, or that she went from op to weak bc they moved the stacks is bullslut. The wolf stops marking camps at a certian point, and roit nerfed more than stack location on her to put her as a current bottom teir rated champion.

Zane Zephyr1 votes

And the stacks are in the enemy jungle because it creates a game for both teams...If you think kindred is going to invade, you can ward the area and have her team collapse on them.

It's a risk vs reward system. If they can successfully invade your jungle and leave with a stack, that means she thought ahead of you and deserved it. There's literally zero reason to give them their stacks for free for what they offer. Making the stacks easier to obtain makes their early game absurdly busted. The literal reason kindred's play rate is so low is because they took the sustain from their W. That is what completely shafted them. The passive is completely fine as is.

Maybe if they just adjusted what the first few marks were, that would help. If the 1-2 were your jungle, 3-4 were scuttle/raptors (both side), and 5-6 were enemy Krugs/Wolves/buffs, maybe that would help. That way Kindred is almost guarenteed to get 4ish marks a game without needing to risk too much.

That or maybe add something like after 6+ marks, there is a significantly longer timer but Wolf may continue to mark enemy buffs. Like if they timer for wolf is 2 minute, after 6 would be 6 minutes. There's nothing more frustrating than seeing that mark on Baron/Rift Herald/Dragon and your team not wanting to help you get it. Thematically I guess it makes sense that Wolf would want to hunt stronger targets, but still.
