You know you keep nerfing Yasuo but that one thing you don't change is going to be a problem

If you rework yasuo broken overloaded passive nothing will ever change. You say unfair things need to be in the game to make it more interesting, but I say having dashs the confuse the opponent, a wind wall that can make ultimates useless, a skill shot that's a tornado, and an ult that can turn a team fight around is pretty damn interesting. You keep nerfing the interesting parts about yasuo and keeping that one thing that makes him a pain in the ass to balance the same. I bet if you got rid of that crit passive and made number changes to fix his kit no one would complain. Yasuo is not an interesting champion because of his passive, he's an interesting champion because of everything else. Remember that time he gets out of hand.

While I can agree that his crit passive is more than what's necessary on a kit, I have to at least point out to you that you seem to not notice or care where the nerfs on the PBE are aimed.

Steel Tempest stack duration down 10s > 6s means that the windows where he can reliably hold his knock-up or hold his Steel Tempest stacks are shorter, and that he actually has to understand the concept "use it or lose it". (at least, this is what I can see from an objective point of view)

As for his Sweeping Blade, they're nerfing its cooldown early, buffing it late, (from .50/.40/.30/.20/.10s > 1/.75/.50/.25/0s) which should ostensibly be considered more of a rebalance - they want Yasuo late game to be dashing around with Sweeping Blade, and look more than willing to embrace that functionality, but it does have to come at some cost.

Which, I think it's good that they're putting a bit more spacing into his Sweeping Blade pre-3rd-rank, since it hurts the reliability of his early game while also maintaining (and empowering) his late game mobility. The more well-paced cooldowns (fourths of a second decrease per rank) also looks to be a relatively good tuning lever, since it allows them to see what Yasuo's Sweeping Blade can do with more spacing early, less spacing late.

It's small nerfs, and not ostensibly in the right places, but I think they're great as a start.

Yeah, but the problem is that Yasuo wasn't released yesterday. There should I have a "great start" years ago.

The phrase "better late than never" applies. Besides, they could've easily just let Yasuo go without any changes, you should be thankful that they're actually looking at him. Unless, y'know, you want them to leave Yasuo as he is.
