I feel like Taric could use some love to his survability

In the past Taric was considered a tank and could front line. After his rework , he lost armor and ratio on his W ( shatter who is now bastion), his base armor got nerfed, his base Hp as well and he lost his old ultimate buff wich made solo lane Taric mostly unviable and his new ultimate created frustration from boosting strategy ( Master Yi and Taric funneling strategy). I personally dislike being forced to build enchanters item and rely on my ultimate only to be somewhat viable in the late game. Basically a ult bot.. I beleive Taric could use some change to turn him more into a front liner like he used to be instead of always relying on his ultimate only. I would love to be able to fend for myself instead of sitting back at turret while facing poking support because I legit can't answer back.. Taric deserve some attention..

Edit : I have more win success playing Teemo support only using shrooms everywhere than I have with Taric right now :/

Edit 2: I feel like the delay on his E and R make him less attractive for new players to play him as it's fairly easy to miss. Something should be done.
