To be fair, Yasuo is legitimately fun to play when he gets enough levels on his E and enough attack speed on his Q. Almost no champ has that same sort of fluidity and flow that his kit has.

He's just the victim of really stubborn balance decisions concerning his numbers. His Crit Chance passive for example quite frankly makes no sense on the class of champion Yasuo is, for a start, and being an AD DPS makes him the most prone to change in the environment around him, especially concerning these new masteries and items.

Enter Azir

This is just an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djoAnhZt5ys

And I remember reading in the patch notes that he got even smoother

Hence almost.

That and I can't play anything ranged anyway :P

I mean, Kata feels pretty fluent and is really fun to play too, but shes not in every game. In fact, shes nearly never played, but she would if she was borken Yasuo

And unlike the Azir argument, she does not have the fluidity that Yasuo or Azir have access to.

Try again.

Let me pick that topic up again...

If Azir is so fluent and fun to play, why is he basically never played either? Im sure if he was broken he would, because he was a few weeks/ months after he came out.

It's because Azir has so many bugs, you might as well call him the Scarab Lord.

Dat agenda push.

Probably for similar reasons to why I can't play Azir. Range is clunky, triply so due to Azir's sand soldiers. He's smooth once you get on him but that learning curve is odd.

Well but Azir WAS played nearly every game back when he was the best mid laner with item 3165 item 3165 and I dont think anything changed about him being hard to play

TehNACHO1 votes

Back when he was the best midlaner, he still had a horrendous learning curve that brought down his average win rate and only evened back out at high level play. For example, you'll notice his average win rate never exceeded 50% in his history according to the numbers presented. At his best really only ever meant exceedingly high level play or the professional scene, where player skill is no longer a variable given how much time and practice they need to put into their champions, and that also is where we see Azir ever outperform his 50% win rate. Coincidence?

Penns1 votes

That doesnt really have anything to do with how often he is played tho, or am I getting something wrong? Yasuo has around 47% win rate atm as well..

TehNACHO1 votes

I was reinforcing his bad learning curve with that last post, is what you're getting wrong. He's still obviously popular, even for players who don't know what they're doing with Azir, as to what shoved his win rate further down.

HE IS FUN !!!! I play him since he first came out. but the tern " FUN " is not part of league so they probably take it out soon. but doesn't matter he still fun to play. so is nidalee even thought u cant win with her, she still the sexiest Pole dancer EVER

Malzahar: Don't mind if I invalidate one of your skills? Didn't think so.
