Teemo offers literally nothing of value that a comp would want from either top, mid, or jungle. So why is his kit not being made into more of an adc or support kit, but Morde's being shoved into bot as a weird "not adc, but not support either" sort of gig?
Meanwhile people get baited into using him thinking that throwing mushrooms will make him useful. Yup, that solves everything...except it doesn't. Teemo needs a rework, not a gimmick.

My suggested changes (sans-numbers):
Slight increase to AA range Substantial increase to base MS
Passive: on-hit magic DoT (no up-front damage), scaling in both total damage over duration as well as by reducing the length of the DoT (and thus increasing it's DPS)
Q: DoT poppy Q (next AA gets bonus damage and is converted to magic DoT; resets AA timer)
W: Passive: vision penetrates [x units] into brush and around corners Active: sheds slows&roots, gains large decaying %bonus MS & Eve-esque stealth for a few seconds
E: champion collision linear skillshot reduces vision radius of first target hit
R: visible, invulnerable, ranged (), no passive vision, detonation creates zone applying (and refreshing) magic %currentHP DoT (no base), slow, and reveal

He has a low CD blind and his mushrooms can be basically throw into the enemy team and not only do they slow, but with high AP they can easily deal like 600-1000 damage to them all, he hardly seems useless if you ask me. Not to mention he is hard to gank since if he plays safe or kills the lane, he will have the entire area covered in shrooms, kinda hard to gank him when he sees it coming as well as you coming in at <50% hp.
Im not even a teemo main but he is so easy to so scary he works with just about any team unless the enemy focuses him into the ground otherwise. Even if he is, he can help with slowing mushrooms as an escape or traps. People really don't think much of them it seems when those are very deadly. And don't even act like someone will use a sweeping, no one does.

If "works" = offer nothing of significance to your team's game plan moving into the mid game, then yea he works. If "works" = miraculously go even with or feed the enemy melee time and time again when he's SUPPOSED to be working them into a corner, yea he works. If "works" = being complete garbage because he's a lousy tank, a lousy adc, a lousy jungler, a lousy assassin, a lousy caster, a lousy team fight engager/disengager, and a a lousy support, then yea he works. This dude just offers freaking nothing to the table. He doesn't fit anywhere. All he does is act a damn fool.
Shonjl1 votesIdk what to tell you then, unless the Teemo player is brand new or stupid, he is useful. An average player Teemo is something to be scared of. If you can die to them even when they are dead, that isn't something to laugh at. That is why him, Yorick, Sion, Heimer are scary. Even when they die they can still kill.
Unless you are this god teemo exterminator, he is always a thorn in the enemy team's side. No where is safe if he is in the game. Dying when you thought you got away safe, or when you are about to engage someone, only to hit a shroom and lose half your hp is nothing to laugh at. His strengths lie in deception, traps, Teemo is through and through the ultimate predator in League. Unlike Rengar or Kha that have to use their ults and everything to ambush and kill you, Teemo could be sitting there the entire time and one unlucky mushroom is all it takes to kill someone even at the other side of the map, and god forbid if he is ACTUALLY there with you.

He used to offer map control, since they nerfed shroom time AND are trying to force you to use gimick throw shrooms you have at most 1/4 the shrooms you had before out. Who exactly is scared of teemo? He is beyond squishy and has absolutely no way to get away. Hit him once and his movement is now the slowest in the game. He isnt and adc, he isnt an apc, he sucks top lane now after nerfs, he cant jungle, worthless mid, and garbage support. I love how you say unlike Rengar who have to use ults.... no they do not have to use ults they can jump insane distances out of a bush and insta eat you. teemo ..... umm he drops a blind that now 1/3 of champs ignore since they dont rely on AA then dies. Teemo ult does crap for damage, no longer grants vision on poof, doesnt snare for crap anymore since it decays, doesnt offer map control because riot is retarded and nerfed the timer. Exactly what does he offer that he is so scary? He is nothing more than a Squishy gimick champ that feeds anyone who has half a brain.
