I laugh when people say this "You're Lucky you're playing Yi"

Not just MasterYi , but any Champion basically

If they're going to cry why some Champion are too easy and unskill to win game, why don't they play it too if they think its so easy to win just by picking a certain Champion

LMAO

I've had opponents on skill-based champions (i.e. Yasuo, Riven, Leblanc, Vayne) rage about how I only managed to win by playing a brain-dead champion (i.e. Nasus, Udyr).

They don't seem to understand that game knowledge and decision-making matters far more than mechanical skill in the vast majority of situations.

I love it when I kill somebody like Ekko or Yasuo on Shyvana and somebody goes "YEAH! Keep playing your easy champion."

And I just respond "At least I know what level of champion I can handle :)"

Because these champions are very often boring. For example with my all salty hate to yso I still have to agree that he might be considered as fun to play champion or champion that has high skill ceiling. If it comes to champions like master yi, Irelia, nasus they are non of these, boring to play with and I guess That's Why people don't want to chose them in championselect. Well at least That's Why I don't play them :P

I agree, same when sona was ridiculously strong with 58% win rate, I still didn't pick her because having 3/4 of my abilities auto targeted is the most boring game play there is to me, hell I even dodge in ARAM if I get sona and she has like a 70% win rate there because she is just that boring

Amen

But some people will do anything to win, if they could get a 2% bigger chance to win by slamming their head into a wall they'd do it.

Some people just have autism, not their fault, but it's still annoying.

hhaavviikk1 votes

ah come on now, I got autism, it's feels bad seeing people use that as an insult, I get that's it's the newest insult to use on the internetz but it's still annoying ;p

Match history: played Sona 4 games ago. LOL.

I don't know what account you're looking at because sona isn't in my match history which goes back to the 18 of September

It's easier to cry than learn how to play against a champion. shrug

Why are you surprised of the latter?

While I understand what your saying, I think it just feels bad when you devote time into mechanically difficult champions and your killed by someone who put almost no thought or effort into their champion/gameplay. Yet, when you die to someone who simply just outplays you there's a level of respect there and personally I dont mind being beaten by someone who's a better player.

I know you've played a fighter against someone who mashes the sweep kick until they've won. Sure there's ways around that, but dont you just sit there and wonder how that person enjoys winning that way? Sure I could do it too..or maybe we both agree thats just not fun for either of us. Anti-fun champions exist, that's reality. Its up to you whether your here to have fun or make sure others dont.

P.S. MasterYi is not anti-fun

Its the same with yasuo. People will go to any extent to put the blame on anything but themselves. Its quite amusing

the best part is if you are playing a champion that actually does take skill, or if you actually did outplay them with a champion that has an easier kit. Champions like MasterYi Annie Tryndamere do have outplay potential, despite being labeled "ez freelo champs"

Not to mention the "skill intensive champs that were incorrectly labeled ez" squad: Riven Vayne Leblanc Zed (yes yes, leblanc and zed are assassins and make it look easy but I guarentee you can't play with the reflexes and reaction times needed to earn yourself getting fed against someone who actually knows how to play against them)

Not sure why tryn is remotely anywhere close to Annie and yi. Hell even yi takes a little more skill than Annie.

Slythion1 votes

I was labeling champions with simple/easy kits and pointed out they still have some outplay potential, not sure why your personal grading on how easy they are has anything to do with what I said...

Annie, Yi, and Trynd are all fairly simple champions yet they all have some sort of outplay potential. If you outplay someone when using one of these guys and the enemy still says something like "easy to do on such easy champs" or something, it's still irrelevant because you still outplayed the dude.

Yi takes more skill than both Annie and Tryndamere.

you should be careful with absolute statements, because imo, nearly 99% of them are wrong.

Yi does in fact take some form of skill and has outplay potential with his Q timing and W timing

GULAG 4 U3 votes

First off, homphobia. Second off, Yi needs to understand what skill to dodge with Q, tank with W, when to go in to not get cc'd to death. Yi dies to a feather, that's why he's hard to play.

Don't talk down to me about my culture you racist.

Second off, CC is the universal answer to any champion, it's not enough counter play and besides W blocks far too much damage while healing way too much anyway.0

Yi doesn't die to a feather, he alpha strikes and then a-moves and it can't be stopped. Then he gets his abilities reset and rinse and repeat.

GULAG 4 U1 votes

How am I racist? And alpha has a downtime, it can't dodge everything. Also it's nearly impossible to Amove with Yi during alpha and it's pointless. He's very easily bursted, you're trash.

How aren't you racist? You lambast me as homophobic when it's part of my culture.

It CAN infact dodge everything. And sure you can't A-Move DURING alpha strike, but you can immediately after, which considering what alpha does puts you directly on top of your target... then 2 auto-attacks (taking a total of 1.5 seconds) and his target is dead, then he alpha strikes another and so on and repeat.

Sure he could be bursted... if he could be targeted.

Do you even know what does racist mean? Also Yi doesn't 2 shit you unless your team wasn't able to peel him off the ADC after he alphaed the carry. He isn't in perma alpha.

And racism is defined as believing one race is better or worse than others. I called you a homophobe. It's a fact.

I'm not sure you have actually played against a Yi ever, racist bigot.

GULAG 4 U1 votes

I'm not even racist, and if you bother d checking my match history you would see I've already played versus yi before. If he is so easy and op why isn't his wintate 70%?

What did he say?

GULAG 4 U1 votes

He said yi players were queer and I called him a homophobe. He then proceeds to call me racist (?)

lulu support is so easy why arent ppl complaining

she doesnt even need to land skillshots to do her job lmfao

Though on all seriousness, it's only salty tears for you to collect as you win. So nothing of value would've been lost anyways.

SlashStriker1 votes

Yi is easy champion but most people play him only jungle.

Why not mid lane MasterYi Yi vs Ahri Ahri ?

Ahri Middle .... 52.34% win / 13.48% play / 1.79% ban Yi Jungle ........ 48.2% win / 5.44% play / 2.43% ban

easy champ =3

XinZhao2WinNhao1 votes

I mean, I've just seen a player with overall mediocre stats slay as Yi with over 40 kills last game. I think the champ he's playing has a lot to do with it.

UnboundCreator1 votes

because the braindead champs like yi annie and garen are boring as fuck to play and only braindead people can play them. (not that their OP. only people who complain about these 3 are low elo players,)
