about new masteries
Is there any reason to make defensive tree worse and worse yet again? it's lacking many of valuable effects of actual tree (+flat armor/magic resist, crit reduction), or just has much lower values in overall. when i look at them as well at new items, i begin to be really worried about tanks state (TOP lane tanks), as tanks are already not played and weak in general.
Also, is there a reason to make their stats gains so low? For example:
Bond of Stone: +4% Damage Reduction. While near an ally this bonus is doubled and 8% of the damage they would take from champions is dealt to you instead (cannot reduce you below 15% Health)
I'm pretty sure everyone would be happier with the +5% damage reduction, without more complications. i understand this particular mastery has it's own purpose (taking damage of allies), but let's remember, with more powerful offence masteries and new really strong ad items, tanks need just raw stats to stop being as weak and squishy as they are now. Instead, you took away another bunch of stats from them
