Remember when Junglers used to be scared of Mages?

Whenever the enemie mid laner ganks bottom lane, they used to get punished by the other mid laner since they would lose the tower. But now Mages are scared of taking the mid tower because the jungler would just come into lane and kill them. Now it's a meta that favor very tanky mid laner basically Battlemage and very slippery assassins.

A Jungler had to think twice before ganking a Mage because they could get blown up if they fucked up their ganks. A Mages could waste the jungler time and exp by pushing the wave and sitting under their tower.

Remember when Junglers actually had to farm and couldn't just get away with ganking a lane 3 times in 5 minutes without losing anything, and had to consider if it's worth giving up farm to try a gank?

yeah those were the time jungle camps didn't take so damn long to respawn and we had to actually CHOOSE when to gank.. instead of. oh I'm out of camps again.. better go gank or invade.

I'm kinda looking forward to the next annual jungle update already because of that.

They should just go and reset the Jungle to Season 4 or 5 (without Devourer, or at least not in that form) imo.

Won't happen. They don't even have anything like this in plans. And we all know how long it takes when riot has something in plans. If they don't ,it might take years. I would love to see jungle changes. I enjoyed having to do good decisions where to go, when should I gank and when I should farm etc. Now anyone can play jungle, pick up some broken sht champ and be usefully.

It isn't even about respawn times, I hardly even see one jungler in the jungle... I had a jungler a few games ago that didn't take his wolves until the 10 minute mark...

He was outleveling me even though I was mid...

well I'm calling bullshit on that, i would like a replay of that becuase i find that VERY hard to belive.. i am usually the same level as botlane.

although if i do recall there is some exploit with wolves to get catchup exp i saw on a NB3 stream/video

(the guy is crazy but its its certainly entertaining, and he sure as hell feels no shame abusing broken stuff, (which is almost ironically because he says everything is broken when its _usually _not)

Ah the good old Devourer item 3124 MasterYi XinZhao Jax and all that

I mean, they kinda did just farm all early game and then you see them the first time on the map and they raped you, but at least you didn't got ganked every 2 minutes.

Remember when laners threw hissy fits because their jungler was strongly encouraged to farm for their gold and xp, ganking was a waste of time, and a heavily farmed jungler would wade out of the jungle at 15 minutes and steamroll any laner which got in their way?

Yeah, I agree that those were good times.

I dont know if you're aware of this but mid laners scale about as hard as ad carries since the ap item changes and changes to baron buff.

Cuz mages have range and cc so if you're smart you shouldn't be in a position for them to solo you.

Because the dmg is atrocious on assassins compared to most mages. Plus i'm not saying that assassins jg can't 1 v 1 kill the enemy, but in a 1 v 1 scenario with both parties having sums, full health, and lvl 6 i'm putting my money on the mid laner.

Actually mages are able to have the same damage that assassins do. Either it's through sustained damage if we're talking about a control mage or it's just flat out the same damage value that assassins have if we're talking about a burst mage.

This whole dsicussion is on the wrong track from the very beginning. No good player is scared of anyone. You respect what they can do. That's all.

If you were jungler and you had no vision of the enemy Ahri or Le Blanc you would play very carfull around that area. Trust me.

This works for both sides and it pisses me off that you guys constantly try to start conflicts were there is absolutely nothing to get mad about.

Yo dude, i'm all about looking at it from every angle. And you're right, a jungler will respect the enemy midlaner but the midlaner needs to respect the jungler as well which seems to me was something others here didn't understand. If the midlaner made a mistake a jungler should be able to punish him for it and vice versa.
