An Idea to Fix Fizz
I find Fizz to be frustrating, as do many many people that do not play him. However, for those who do, I can definitely understand the appeal. He's slippery, he's bursty, and he's got that sweet high satisfaction moment when a Jinx rocket is coming for you and you lol nope out of the way to let it crash into your 10% health team mate right behind you.
I think the MAIN cause of Fizz's frustration is not actually his kit, but rather his itemization. Let's take a look here:
Common Fizz complaints include -
"He can go untargetable twice in one fight!" - Actually, he can only do this once. Zhonya's Hourglass DOES seem to give him a lot of free abuse to his E though, since you don't need to save it as a panic button.
"His E is on such a low cooldown!"
- Not true. The only reason Fizz's E is up so often is his easy access to 40/45% CDR.
"He gets one item and then his Q chunks me for half my health!" - This one was actually SO BAD that Riot had to nerf Lich Bane and buff Fizz in compensation because Fizz literally had a 100% Lich Bane build.
So let's not nerf Fizz's kit. Let's fix all the annoying problems with his items.
-
Change all of Fizz's ratios to bonus AD ratios. This will remove Fizz's easy access to annoying itemization like Lich Bane and Zhonya's Hourglass without punishing his kit for them.
-
Leave the damage on his abilities as magic damage, don't change it to physical. This will allow Fizz to deal a large amount of mixed damage by building AD while also keeping him from falling into the trap of armor pen being useless that all other AD assassins are currently in. Additionally it makes Black Cleaver largely useless on him, limiting his access to CDR.
-
Adjust all of his mana costs. As an AD champion, his mana costs should be lower to match the new items available to him.
-
Add a new defensive mechanic to synergize with his kit. In addition to 20% bonus magic damage against anyone hit by Chum the Waters, have an additional debuff called "Feeding Frenzy" stick on anyone damaged by the shark. When Fizz attacks someone with the Feeding Frenzy debuff, he calculates life steal before defenses are taken into account, thus making Death's Dance a good buy on him despite having no armor pen.
I think this would be a good direction to take Fizz in, and the Nightfall passive on the new Assassin's Dagger would pair perfectly with Seastone Trident.
rarely uses his AP scalings over his health scalings.

i feel black cleave on and hit effcts will be good on him go up with you Q turn on your E then auto then leave his he will not be much of an assassin more of a fighter
