Nautilus got buffnerfed

Buffnerfed - Term used to describe Riot buffing the champion while reducing his overall effectiveness. Not a word? Well it should be

You took hole 10 AOE damage from his jungle clear in favor of few seconds reduction on E . That is up to 40 damage per auto that you will loose based on number of creeps .That shield at level 3 stays up for a long time . You loose about 180 damage per camp at level 5 in favor of slightly shorter cooldown on E which does not make up for it . You nerfed his early clear which until level 5 was not brilliant to begin with .

WHO IS GOING TO LEVEL E FIRST? You will level W first right? E will have miserable damage until level 12. Its a crowd control tool not compensation for damage .

I don't see how this will help him in teamfights . His E is only effective if you can land your anchor for combo otherwise champions outrun it . Lower cooldown doesn't do anything significant because you not gona caught anyone important using E by itself .

Also I would rather have 10 damage per auto while ganking instead of E that relies on anchor . I am not gona be able to use it twice

This change does not make any sense . With new HP item Shield will be so much harder to brake so I don't know where you going with this .

His W is a DoT, multiple auto-attacks merely extends the duration. Nautilus didn't lose as much damage as you think he did. There's no reason to put more than 2-3 points in his W before maxing E.

Honestly, he's losing a small amount of single target damage (5-15 DPS) for a significant buff to his AoE damage.

It actually helped him a lot. Take away minor damage on his W.

Give him significantly more CC during team fights.

Having E more readily available allows Naut to stand in the middle of a team fight and, if and when his shield went down, he can still impact the team fight by slowing the people around him in order for your team to catch them and kill them.

Did his early clear go down? Possibly...I think the E lower cooldown mostly makes up for the damage.

But there's no doubt that he is in a much better place after this "buffnerf"

And then you remember his shield breaks after 3 hits or less and, past level 6, Naut's clear time has always been completely stable, especially with Cinderhulk taking all of the stress off of him.

All tank junglers got buffed and he's one of them, so idk why you're complaining.

I first thought the title said "Butt Nerfed". But yeah, with the addition of Cinderhulk, a scaling health item, seeing how his shield scales of health, it makes sense to establish that the shield would take a hit. So it was either lower the health scaling on the shield or slightly reduce it's damage. And we know which one matters more.
