SOoooooooo why the F*** does Rakan's AAs not count as Melee???
Just tried using Relic Shield on him only to find out that it is utterly useless, as it doesn't proc the execute.
So explain to me how Thresh can proc the execute when Rakan can not, and Thresh has longer (Ill say that again) LONGER range than Rakan.

Last time I did it, it did proc when I went into melee range.

And no, Thresh cannot proc Relic Shield's execute. He is ranged too, and it must be a melee attack to proc the execute damage, though anyone can proc the heal/gold share by last hitting in any way.

The Last Ballad1 votesBy "proc the relic shield" they mean the free 200-400 true damage passive(which makes last hitting minions way easier), not the gold sharing. The gold sharing happens by everyone.
