So, as far as I can recall, ahri did NOT have a crazy high winrate a year ago.
But, 6 months ago or something, suddenly her winrate shot up. 53% or HIGHER, in silver through diamond. (55% in diamond, whut?)
So, I'd like to know what changed in the meta, to make her strong now?

Champions that countered her or were stronger than her were made weaker.
She wasn't popular then, so people forgot how to play against her.
The assassin meta happened, and safety became even more important. Thus her chances of success in lane went up with the % of assassins picked.

DarkRitual1 votesAlso, LCS reminded everyone she isn't trash like many people thought she was. Sometimes people just need to be reminded that certain champs are good into other matchups, or against meta picks. Fiddle got played support this weekend in EU. For a reason. Kennen also returned to the marksman role across the pond. If not for those games, 99% of people would have forgotten about either pick existing.
