So riot, why wasn't the Morde Dragonforce nerf on the PBE?

Just read the patch notes and Mordekaiser's dragon clone got some pretty major handicaps to nerf his snowballing when getting a Dragon early.

Fair enough, in fact I like the direction of opening up avenues of buffing Morde by reducing his dragon and w power.

But why wasn't it documented on the PBE? :P

Riot doesn't put up the PBE patch notes. They're actually made by unassociated groups using datamining. Riot has no hand in making the PBE patch notes you see on Surrender@20.

It was almost certainly on the PBE without getting detected. Happens all the time, particularly for unusual mechanics. It usually just means that the datamining didn't find the change correctly.

He was pretty OP for brief awhile.... but unlike Riven/Lee/Thresh/Yasuo, he got nerfed immediately rather than buffed over and over (Dat lee ult buff, dat riven regen buff, dat yasuo itemization buff)

He'll be quite a bit stronger tomorrow. His Q actually does decent damage before you have 5 points in it, although the 5 point damage is a little weaker.

Oh its a nerf? And here I thought it was a buff for a faster dragon... Dang.

It's probably because it's an unusual change, and the scripts usually used to find stuff on PBE probably missed it. It was on PBE, I promise, I got some replays of my games if you want to see. They made the AI for it noticeably better, which is what I really noticed.

He's stronger than he is on live, as his E is stronger, and his q does more damage early game, especially when you are maxing E and rushing AP.
