yi true damage has good ad scaling. so build ad.
the jungle item in itself sucks. right now its overbuffed. that doesn't mean its good. by that I mean 50% attack speed and 4% max health is too much for a champion like kindred. why do you want physical damage when you can do 120 true damage on hit per auto.

MLDzXnRRR1 votesYi brings no CC, no utility for his team like MS buffs, shields, heals, debuffs for the enemy etc, no early pressure and can't lane vs 90 % of the other champions without getting zoned and denied CS the whole laning phase... Yi = OP. Even his lategame is not that good compared to the ranged ADCs and some of them outscale his damage while having safe range and utility like slows, knockbacks, roots - Kog, Jhin, Vayne, Draven... He is good only for cleaning teamfights (still Kata is better than him in this) and chasing enemies.

that said he's my favorite champ to play.
