Spirit VIsage, Mages, and Vladimir

Currently, we are in a very heavy AP meta. Rumble Tops, Syndra Mids, Nidalee Jungles running around competitive, Annie one 100-0 people with a Catalyst.

Yet, one of the main tank items to beat them, , had it's MR reduced by 15 in the Mid-Season patch. The healing increase was buffed to 25% from 20% compensate, but that change only made it better for one certain overpowered vampire.

Currently, Riot is trying to push Vlad into purchasing more AP. This is an incredibly healthy idea. As a person with Mastery 6 Vladimir, I find it kind of strange for a Mid Lane AP Sustained Damage mage builds a tank item first in many match-ups.

In his current state, with his current core build, Vladimir is restricting the strength of , making it hard to balance for the tanks that were originally meant to buy it in the first place. Please try to push away from this item. It may be thematically appealing, but gameplay wise it is unhealthy, and there are more tanky AP options for Vladimir that will suit him just fine (I.E. , , )
