Youre telling me the champion whos designed to punish immobile squishies that are out of position, cant duel a immobile squishy that is out of position??? Nocturne deserved more votes.

Press R>Proc Electrocute/Trigger LT>Varus Flashes Fear Tether>Nocturne Flashes to follow up>Tether is still broken regardless, Varus wins the following autoattack duel. without his ult or heal.

He just dies through Electrocute + Duskblade Proc, it's not like you can interrupt his flight, nor CC him right after, because he has a spell shield.

the counterplay is: your ADC shouldnt be so unforgivably out of position that he actually finds himself getting 1v1'd by a Nocturne. Or use any dash mechanic ADC.
-you can interupt his flight. -you can get through his spellshield when he lands -theres a movespeed breakpoint, where simply moving will make it so his Ult doesnt even hit you. -any dash mechanic can juke the damage -most dash mechanics break the fear tether.
i dont think he should press R and get a free kill, i just think he needed more votes for a rework and im suprised he was the least voted because hes awful.

Ah, so he should be in his fountain? It's not like Nocturne Ult is a skillshot, it is a point and click and the only thing you need is to be in the giant cast range and vision. Buy blue trinket and hover in River, that's it, dead Squishy (that has no Zhonyas).

Most squishies can duel his current tuning in conjunction with jungles low exp- right now. And no, you should be near someone. Nocturne cant 1v2, and he definitely cant ult into teamfights unless his team is just outright winning without him in the first place.

janna is immune to nocturne. First of all she reaches the MS breakpoint to avoid his ult simply by moving. And stacking Tornado and your ult is going to either effectively peel him off of someone, or effectively break both his shields and hes going to instantly flop. Plus the shield pretty much makes him useless to begin with, since your providing a barrier that makes it literally impossible for him to do his job.(Unless hes really far ahead for somereason, but that applies to any champion)
PhearBunny1 votesi mean come on, the champion is so bad at doing his job(Being an assassin) that he generally runs LT over Electrocute because theres a general awareness that he cant effectively do his job as an assassin, so you're better off just banking on the fact that his Q is a AD steroid that u combine with LT to act like a crappy psuedo melee carry(Like Yi. Trynd)- just far worse than both of them.
