Of all the champs in the game.. How do you counter F'ing Diana??
I mean.. I can take Galio and build nearly full MR Tank and she can still shit on me. Anyone have a tip on how to beat her? She's legit the only champ I can't play mid against.

dodge her q?
would be pretty good.
Really depends on who you're using to fight her?
She's always gonna be good at bursting squishies, but she's also good against tanks just because she doesn't mind extended trades with them. Dodge her Q and maybe play someone who doesn't mind extended trades, and can do them better than her (As well as get to her, so she can't Q poke you to death) (I.E Jax, Irelia, Darius)
Zone her out of CS pre 6. The champ you're using is dependent on that as well, but I was an
main (and diana is usually an unfavorable matchup if you're unsure of how to use her 100%) and whenever I laned vs her I just pressured her. Learn to harass while csing, so you don't prioritize zoning them and miss cs. Wave control is important too since you can just get ganked if you keep them under tower. I always rushed Negatron cloak first, and finished the abyssal scepter since she's rather tanky with her shield.
Also if you get hit with Q, back up. lol
i find her easy to deal with. What you coudl do is that if youre ranged remember to abuse your autoes and that her only chance of dealing damage is her Q and only her Q to trade back because you wont let her get close to let her auto or W.
Becauses shes also melee whenevr she goes to auto thats when you harass her. Its all about making trades dont just go spamming whatever you have.
as for when she hits 6 you shoul dbe about 6 as well and you could be in for a hcnace to get a kill too. What you do is wait for her to use her Q then thats when you go in to kill her. She wont be able kill you easily with just a R and W and autoes (its possible but could take longer and you may kill her first). If shes lander that Q thats an extra Q landed as well as 2 Rs. If shes a really good diana then shell wait for you before she uses Q. this is where you try to predict or bait. Pretend youre going in to CS thats when she will try to Q. GO in to get that CS but take a step back its all about baiting. Try to know the range of her Q and it will be easier.
if youre losing badly agianst her just standn back iss CS if you have to because thats nbetter than giving a kill and losing CS because youre dead.
Obviously. She can't kill you. You can bully her in lane. You become a late game hyper tank - she becomes a useless paperweight that can't brawl with you. This is the best anti assassin/brawler mid in the game right now.
wait for the shield meta to die lmao
A better question is how do you lose to Diana? I can pick virtually anything in my champ pool and shit all over a lane Diana.
@OP I play both pretty regularly. As Galio against Diana, You want to be in a position early on where you are one shotting caster minions and giving youself a minion advantage. You can usually do this if you take some AP in runes by lvl 4-5. This dissuades her from engaging on you. I would start
and build
and then
. I then like
and
. With Diana, you need to dodge the Q. My guess is that you were probably in your minions, trying to farm with autos. Don't do that. Minion block makes it easier to hit her Q. Honestly just learning the best method to farm and take as little damage as possible is key. I like to QE casters, wait for Q again, and WQ the melee minions. It's an obnoxious play style that keeps you safe thanks to your huge ability range and it makes it really hard for them to take your tower. Note: W will increase your AP! Use it before your other abilities to deal more damage. Anothersneaky trick if you get engaged on is to E towards your tower, W to mitigate damage, then R them under your tower and Q to finish off.
Hope this helps!
Brand and Ahri have always given me trouble, due to them getting a guaranteed stun/charm if I try to ult to them.
Pick someone who has either mobility or CC.
I find the hardest champions to play against before 6 (and some even after 6) are: Zed, Brand, Yasuo, and Ahri.
Of course, you have to be -good- on those champions to counter her, but they can do the trick.
CC her as soon as she E's or R's you, then unload your combo. Make her pay for getting up close and personal.
I'd also say Akali is a good pick, she gets 3 R-dash charges as opposed to a potential 2 for Diana.
