Title says it all, this game is starting to get easy, and I want to play a mid champion that's hard. What do you guys recommend? [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

To me thats simply too vague of a question that covers just about everything. Whats hard to one person can be easy to someone else, and rewarding to you can not be just the same. There are things that are hard, and then things that are just out of meta.

Orianna isn't really hard per my opinion, but you have to learn to pay attention to your ball placement to hit an optimal shockwave. Shockwave is one of the best ultimates in the game for turning a bad teamfight into a good one. Just the threat of a ball with a loaded shockwave in front of them is enough to zone your enemies from contesting you

Azir 's difficulty comes from micro managing your soldiers and learning how to "insec" your ult to set up and engage fights instead of just using it for disengage

Leblanc requires you to familiarize yourself with the a few variations of buttons sequences to begin and end with to use her combos optimally

Lissandra can make or break fights depending on her awareness of when to use her ult on an enemy or herself

Of course thats what I think because thats really all people will be able to say here. Someone will think they arent hard at all.

Di Diana Because she can legit counter any meta mid laner except for maybe Yasuo shes not to hard to play but hard to master and you can legit one shot any squishy champ and her outplay potential is huge.

If you reeeeeeeeeeaaallly want a challenge that'll satisfy in mid, play Varus . Poke hard. Snipe hard. Get dem stakz and CC with your ult for ultimate engage/disengage bants.

There are also a lot of Leblanc , but few are great at what they do.

I feel like Lissandra rarely gets the appreciation she deserves. I like her kit a lot and she can make amazing plays, but with Lux being FotM, it's probably not wise to pick her right now. She's a great anti-assassin mage though.

Lissandra Most of your matchups are uphill battles, there is rarely a time when you don't have to really work for your lane(or the game in general) unless the enemy is just plain bad and doesn't know how to play against her.
