(Judge my gameplay/stats/thoughts... This was a very odd game for me.)

Please tell me your thoughts on this very odd game. Look I know I didn't play the best. But just stat wise and skill wise, it seemed like this game was all over the place and I kinda want to upload it to youtube for seeming so odd.

So the teams are:

Aatrox (Top), Vi (Jungle), Akali (Mid), Yasuo (Bot), Zyra Support (Me)

vs

Nasus (Top), Kayn (Jungle), Annie (Mid), Caitlyn (Bot), Nami Support

The game ended in a surrender. We couldn't team fight vs them, they really steamrolled over us at a certain point even when we got the early game advantage.

Aatrox got first blood.

We got a double kill bot lane, immediately followed by taking first tower and first dragon.

We got another tower, then the next dragon.

We had a few deaths but map-wise we were doing good.

Constantly farming looking for CS.

At two points in the game we had a gold lead advantage over 2k compared to the enemy team.

Also the enemy jungler forgot to take smite; so he should be behind in farm and cs.

Then suddenly everything goes wrong.

For some reason the four levels behind enemy jungler - Kayn, who had no smite suddenly has caught up. And he is just steamrolling us along with Annie. The damage was so insane with very little counter-play that I felt I could do nothing against it. Mind you I haven't fought many Kayn's as Zyra (I need more practice with it. But I honestly felt he was nearly untouchable.), Kayn was just able to float around my abilities and damage, like it was nothing. I had Ults that I tried use on Kayn and pin him down, but he could out wait my Ult with his Ult. Or he could 'q' dash out of it and also he could just avoid my plants/seedlings by going through terrain. It was a pain in that ass. He could burst me down in a second, and I wasn't to stop him in any practical way.

Is Kayn just a insane hard counter pick to Zyra as a champion? I felt like I could do no damage to him.

Which was pretty odd.

Especially since I did the most damage on my entire team.

Damage to champions:

Zyra: 11966 - Zyra does -insane- damage. I know this. She can put out high numbers. So in terms of game damage, I was 4th as a support. Cait: 16915 - She did some damage, and a lot of free proc's come with her passive. I can see it. Kayn: 17590 - This is impressive and really puzzling especially since he didn't have smite as a jungler and was supposedly behind. Annie: 26435 - Holy cow...

Last Place~ Vi: 3403 - So she didn't attack players as the jungler. But she had the highest objective damage.

Damage to Objectives:

Vi: 13,238 (So she wasn't useless.) Caitlyn: 11,530 Annie: 7,407

Other odd stats:

Healing: Aatrox - 9190 Nami - 7190 - Wow, so Aatrox did more healing than Nami? Which is pretty crazy as Nami's healing... was about the amount of damage of Yasuo.- Yasuo Damage Dealt - 7519 - So Nami's healing negated about a player's worth of damage.

Wards Placed: 1st Place - Zyra - w/ 24 wards .... lol. So I guess vision isn't as important. 2nd Place - Akali - w / 10 wards 3rd Place - Nasus - w/ 9 wards Last Place - Nami - w/ 3 wards. Really? Heal bot. >.>

Endscore:

Kills: 12 v 32 Turrets: 5 v 5 Dragons: 2 Ocean Drakes v 1 Cloud Drake Rift Herald: Not Contested died at baron spawn- Missed Opportunity Baron: Not Contested Game Was Surrendered

So here are my thoughts on the game.

I don't know who will win, I suspect they will. I banned a healing support (Soraka), only to get Nami picked. (Was this a bad ban? I wanted to do damage and get kills. By banning a healing support does it suggest to grab a different healer; is this a give away/tell. Should I just ban Kayn? lol)

With Nami I'm not sure if I could out poke/damage her healing, but I would do my best. That was my goal.

My Goals are...

I'm committed to doing damage as Zyra as I'm a kill support. I can't heal Yasou because I have ignite. So I must be ready to recall for health or mana and timed recalls are important. This means engages are very important. I must pick my fights to win. However, I need to pick my fights wisely and fast, because I'm against the clock. Being against the clock, I'll likely make mistakes. Everything is a rush. So get CS, do Tower Damage, do Player damage. Put damage out. Cait has dark harvest, Nasus has grasp of the undying, so they are stacking for late game. I will do my best to ward and keep vision up even if others aren't. I will try to time objectives together; so it is a fluid victory do not be 'idle' on the map.

Either way the game had some interesting things going on in it. It felt like we won the early game and lost the mid game to champs who shouldn't of ramped up that fast. It also felt like skill shots with abilities wasn't really a factor. I missed quite a few skill shots, I also landed quite a few. First game of the day excuse. But it also felt odd as Kayn just walked right over me. He farmed me a bit since there was nothing I could do to stop him. He was incredibly tanky, bursty, and mobile especially being behind w/o smite. >.>

Oh I forgot to mention CS and gold. Kayn - 107 CS; 10,170 Gold Vi - 134 CS; 8,552 Zyra - 79 CS; 7,761 Nami - 2 CS; 6,115 (Are gold items broken?) Caitlyn - 176 CS, 10,752 Yasuo - 135, 9,218 Akali - 109 CS, 9,180 Annie - 134 CS, 11,249 Aatrox - 140 CS, 7,198 Nasus - 128, 7,151

So as a support I earned more gold than both top laners who farmed solo; and yes I know I got some cs. >.> Nami who only had 2 cs compared to my 79 cs, is only a thousand and 500 gold away. Vi who had smite and more CS than Kayne at 134 v 107, is down 2k gold in comparison. Aatrox who has the most CS on our team... Has the lowest amount of gold on our team. Wait what? Lol. >.> Nasus who has 128 CS, over Nami's 2 CS is only 1,000 gold richer. Haha.

This leads me to believe support items give way too much gold. That gold income via CS isn't worth gold income via Kills. CS and farm while still important don't give as big a gold lead as a kill or other means. CS isn't as important as it used to be.

So overall, I think there is a lot of questionable things in this match and this game.

But really I'd like to hear all your thoughts and opinions.

What could I of done better. What did I focus to much on and why?
