when does one skip straight to promotion?
it happened to me twice, where i earn the usual 19-21 lp, and then suddenly when at around 55 lp, the next win gets me straight to promos. any idea?

MrFawknSunshine1 votescuz you are playing in elo/mmrs lower then your skill level. once you get to a skill level that matches your mmr your lp gains wont be nearly as high and your losses will be more impactful.
according to op.gg bronze in season 6, silver season 7 and (even though its not 100% accurate ) it says you have a mmr of 1891 which is plat 3 mmr. so you are better then what you are playing against so the MMR system is trying to rubberband you up to a mmr of your skill level.
SwiftKitten881 votesidk... in early season 7 i won 16 straight games as morg.. never skipped a tier
back in season 7 morg was absurdly strong.
in season 8 she is "decent" but is utterr trash when compared directly to how good she was in season 7.
i rally dont understand why people ban her NOW when they didn't in season 7 when she was easily twice as good as she is now
