Kalista does not need a bigger dash when backing away from champions

I was in support of Kalista and her kit till i got to play against her. I thought maybe all the games i'd played supporting Kalista went well because i'm a decent support and people don't know how to play against her. But nah, its cause her stupid ass passive lol. Sorry, but thats some bullshit. I'm fine with her getting the dash, but there is literally no reason that she should get a bigger one when moving away from champs. Make it a bigger one when moving towards enemy champs. She already has a kiting tool, and its a cool one at that, but there is no reason she should be able to kite me down half the map without a frozen mallet, ashe q, or something of the like. You don't even need to use Rend lol

The funny thing is that if someone proposed a champion with 100% immunity to slows Riot would laugh. But if you spend all day jumping and slows don't affect jumping, what are you...?

I hate being that guy that calls people out, but seriously CertainlyT you have to slow down when making these champs. While you have some amazing design points you typically go WAY over board on the power sink. First it was Darius and a reseting true damage ult, then Zed a champion that has been top play non-stop and at one point was a unstoppable mid laner, then Thresh with the crazy lamp (though they have him in a pretty good spot now, amazing job on him) , and lastly Yasuo Do I EVEN have to say anything about his balancing issues?!

Her jumps also need to have their ranged reduced by slow effects. Snares should have increased duration, and her armor should drop the more she is slowed.

The other option is give her max 100 HP.

This is like Yasuo all over again. Created, but not tested.

She shouldn't have been released in the first place, her passive needs to be scrapped. I will continue to only play draft and dodge if she gets selected.

She is so anti fun that it's honestly sad she made it past PBE.

Things to do to Kalista

  • Make her Rend slow for way less.
  • Make her dash length affected by slows. None of this Yasuo BS where there are too few AS slows in the game to balance correctly, make Kalista's dash affected by slows which nearly every champion has.
  • Get rid of her increased range for jumping backwards.
  • Reduce her range to 500.

And a personal wishlist:

-Some characters are balanced by having far lower base Aspd than normal (ex: Annie, Nautilus) so with this logic, make Kalista's base MS 315 rather than 325. Or even the old value of 300. -Make sentinels give false vision when killed from behind. You won't actually know it's dead unless you check it out for yourself.

I still dont understand who designed that mechanic.

Last time i tried jumping forward and backward irl...i can tell you which one ended up going farther...hint...its not backwards

Whats even worse is kalista+Nautilus or kalista+leona ult capability.....

And of course, teh kites, teh kites....

also, with all the nerfs, notice some champs are strangely OP yet haven't been touched?

JS, i also saw a warwick smite someone then ult them.....turning his damage into true damage....it did about 3x as much hp as was needed to actually kill the target...(pssst, it was a leona o.o)

Could we not turn the boards into what the old GD used to look like. The entire gameplay page is filled up with kalista OP threads and not one of them has actual reasons why kalista is really OP. Usually every post is filled with a bunch of vulgarity and calling out riot employees.

I've been playing with and against kalista all day and she's just not that scary. I've had a much easier time messing up team fights with azir and everybody still thinks he's garbage.

Yes she can kite, but so can half the other mobile adc's and there's a million ways to catch her. Oh and on top of that they gave all junglers a 'slow smite' just in case you happen to be playing one of the very few characters who doesn't use botrk or phage or have a mallet or a gap closer.

So please lets all be mature for once and at least play the character for a little bit and against her and see if she really needs any tweaks before crying out for nerfs on her first day of release.
