Should Win / Lose affect Champion Mastery?

Winning = + Champion Master (reward) Losing = - Champion Master (penalty)

So lets say you score A

Winning a game would result scoring S Losing the game would result scoring B

I think the outcome of the game is actually important for champions performance.

No. Mastery scores are based on personal performance and work as an incentive for players to do their very best in any situation good or bad.

If a team loses even though one of them went 200+ CS. 12+ wards placed, 5+ wards destroyed, 20+ kills, less than 5 deaths, and over a dozen assists only to find themselves robbed of a well deserved S, they'd be even angrier that the game basically turned around and said, 'sorry, you weren't able to carry the feeders into victory, no compensation for you'.

And if someone on a winning team scored what was supposed to be an A+ despite being hard carried by the player who rightfully earned their S+ then it'd be like, "EVERYONE GETS THE BLUE RIBBON!" even though it was the one player who truly deserved it.

Then should the Champion performance affect LP Gain and Lost?

LP gain and loss work on trends based on your overall performance in not one game, but multiple games. If you manage to win most of your games then the game recognizes that you may be deserving of more LP. However, the trend must remain positive. If you start to experience a large amount of losses then the game determines that you may not be as deserving of as much LP as you had previously earned.

The match making itself is at fault for placing players unevenly matched in MMR and ranking that you could end up facing a terrible team that makes you feel like you are actually better than you really are, end up on a team so terrible that your individual accomplishments are invalidated, or against a team of highly skilled opponents whose coordination and cooperation makes you feel completely and utterly helpless and alone, maybe even betrayed by your own allies which accounts for a certain degree of the toxicity that transpires among allies.

Rarely are two teams so evenly matched that it all boils down to the final team fight in which it's winner take all.
