What Malzahar needs is a nerf to his broken passive

Increasing the mana costs won't do nothing to him. He needs a nerf to his passive and the Voidling damage to monsters from 75% to 50%.

His passive is so incredibly broken, if you try to burst him out, he will soak up all the damage for 1 second because of his retarded 90% damage reduction.

If an assassin tries to go kill him, he will just use all your combos on you and your dead. 1 second is all assassins need to kill someone, but his passive completely nulifies the damage.

Either have a Banshee's passive for 1 ONLY CC instead of 1 second CC block or reduce the damage reduction, because it's too high.

Yes his passive is clearly the most broken thing about him.

Right now if you let him get all of his voidlings up and onto you, you will likely be in trouble but this I have no problem with.

What I do have a problem with is that the counter play to this would seem to be attack him before he sees you and can get his voidlings rolling, but his passive makes this completely impossible as your burst won't do anything.

I just don't see what riot has as his intended counter play at the moment.

Pretty sure all you have to do is kill the original voidling and no more spawn. Simple as that.

There are ways to get around this. You can use one ability or an auto attack to take down his passive and then kill him. Think before you just roll your face on your keyboard to kill someone.
