Fiora's vital points

If they're a vital point on your champions BODY why do they not move with you? why it just always facing one direction (in lane it seems to almost always be towards her). Realistically, and how the tooltip makes it sound, is that it is a point on your champions body. Meaning, if its on the FRONT of my champions body when i rotate it should rotate as well.

Not only is it true damage on a very low cooldown and caused by a very easy mechanic (shit you don't even need to work for it, just press q in their direction and boom, true damage!), theres absolutely no way for you as a player to counter, or control, where the point is. If its aiming towards her in lane, well better luck next time take a step back and wait for it to fade.

Being able to rotate your character in order to PROTECT YOUR VITAL POINT would be a cool mechanic and open up counter play for this almost point and click style true damage they put in.

Oh and it would also make sense with what the concept actually it. Theres that too.

Because it would be literally impossible to every hit a vital.

Like absolutely impossible.

Do you need to hit EVERY vital. If the vital is in front and person is protecting it, it means they cant cs. so they have to choose.

Have you actually played her?

Yes, if you arent hitting many vitals, you are dealing very little damage.

And with how much twirling there is in this game because turn speed is 0, hitting them would simply never happen. This isnt a matter of hitting less, it is a matter of hitting NONE.

This is a mechanic that simply cant work as long as turn speeds are instant.

I have and i still thought the marks were easy to land - specially with her Q.

The marks arent supposed to be incredibly difficult to land. They are like 75% of her damage, so they shouldnt be that difficult to hit (except her ult which is significantly harder).

I feel like this is a bad idea simply because league doesn't have turn speed...

then make it rotate slowly, the idea that its stuck in one place for a decent amount of time is a bit absurd. Considering it can happen multiple time sin a row in the same area she can zone you without really needing to do anything besides existing. Im just jaded against true damage - I've never liked it. I just hate how free it can be with the way her q interacts with it. Its almost too easy to hit it in my eyes.

I get the whole 0 turn speed thing, and you're right it would be ridiculous - but i just don't thing true damage to be so free and easy.

There's these talks about turn speed, but Cassiopeia's ult works fine... Honestly I think it's a cool idea. If it's on your enemy's front, it discourages them from going in/CS. If it's on the back, it discourages them from running away. Will need a lot of tweaking, but I think it can work.

Sometimes you gotta forsake "common sense" for gameplay in order to make something that's actually playable, so the whole "It's on my body, it should turn with me!" argument is kinda invalid, it would feel far, far worse to play Fiora with this sort of change. The 'stable vital point' gives a target for you to focus rather then throwing a ball in a roulette.

But wait!!! What happens with Garen ?

This is a very thinly veiled "nerf Fiora she beat me in lane OP" post

iConcy1 votes

its not actually, i beat her in lane plenty. I just personally think true damage is something that Riot needs to cut back on, not promote more of.

then what the hell are you asking for vitals to move around for?

You should attempt to play fiora once so you can see what you are talking about. You can control where the vital is on yourself by backing off to reset it to another side or bait the fiora to go for the back vital so the minions destroy her early on she only has the one dash. You know exactly where she is targeting so you should be able to position yourself properly. You just have to be more aware of your champion at this point to not be taking excessive amounts of true damage in trades.
