WHat do you do when your Jg refuses to gank your lane?

This seems to be a normal problem that i run into in Bronze which in turn, really is not helping me get out of this elo hell division.

  • What should you do though? I need to know because its an issue i've come across quite often when I've requested help in my lane from my jungler even if i'm not necessarily losing it, but that it isnt going in my favor and I'd like my jungler's assistance. The jungler's will usually say that the other lanes need more help, or the occassional "stfu" (remember this is bronze, this behavior is normal.) For example, lets say that you've just picked Riven and you've been counterpicked by Pantheon. You gave him a kill early and now he's poking you and turret diving you/or you're lane is being ganked frequently . You've been asking for ganks since say level 3, and your jungler has not ganked depsite you asking in the chat. What should you do at this point if you're behind/unable to farm safely and you're jungler will not gank for you? It frustrated me last game because i had been counter picked as Yasuo by Kayle and swapped lanes with my top lissandra. Early i could tell the trades weren't going i n my favor but i did manage to kill him because he turret dove me. Anyways, I even asked my mid to gank and had no sucess thus, my lane was lost due to me and the lack of help. What should i do in this situation?

Two options outside of super in depth analysis. The first option is to make a play elsewhere on the map. This can be ganking with your jungler, since he is refusing to help you, why not help him and possibly net a good counter gank or just force another opponent to suffer a similar fate to you. Unfortunately this does leave your lane opponent with free farm, but they were getting that anyway in most cases. So make a play, anywhere but your lane. This is sort of the reason rift herald was introduced, to provide something an ahead laner could take advantage of, or a behind laner could use for pressure they otherwise would not be able to obtain. The second option is to simply triage your lane yourself. Let your opponent take the lane and tower and see what they do. If they leave and apply pressure elsewhere, farm while they are gone, maybe even take turret to try to salvage what little impact you will currently have. The issue here is of course your lane opponent is stronger than you and able to have a bigger impact in teamfights, whereas you lack the items and/or levels to participate. This second option generally causes you to get dove, either by multiple people or your opponent alone. Sometimes you can get out of it, other times not. It also requires you to invest in a lot of potions in order to remain present long enough to have an impact through levels. Unfortunately, if you are top lane, this pretty much all comes down to match up. In an even match up it will be dependent on your skill and the presence, or lack thereof, from your junglers. Unfortunately the only thing you can do is try to keep a positive attitude and realize ranked is simply five people put together, and the team who makes the better decisions wins, about fifty percent of the time.

Thanks btw! I should add in that in my last experience with this, I was fighting a nasus. so leaving him alone to farm was debateably worse than trying to harass him and dying.

You cry or turn yourself into a jungler.

And if jungle is your worst role then what? Im completely serious. I dont know if this is actually a problem in higher ranks but it does play a part in actually ascending the ranks down here unfortunately.

Yeah, try ganking mid or go make a play bot, therye weaker than you. Don't even worry about your jungler complaining about taking his jungle. He refuses to help you so... :)

I do refuse to gank lanes sometimes. I do if the other person is toxic. or if the enemy is so fed they can 1v2 us.

But what should i do lol thats all im asking. I understand that there are some lanes that ganking top becomes giving away a double kill.

What I generally do is try and draw out the game to late game and sit under tower and farm and farm like no tomorrow unless the team needs help of course, I have these games a lot and I've done this method many times and it works really well for me :)

as i jungle main here are my main problem with this, 1... at lvl 3 is very hard to gank depending on who you are jungling as, lets say ww or whatever 2... if you got counter understand that you created your problem bigger, you need to just sirvive lane, if you dying before your lvl 6, you fucked up, and its not th junglers job to save you, all you had to do was not die sit under turret and farm as much as you can, 3... i would gank too, but is your lane push to hard? are you very low on hp? is the enemy already so far head that he can 2 v 1 us? or i can just farm up and get my self ahead? or can i gank another lane that can carry harder than someone that isnt dying in before 5 minutes into game? not to sound rude but there is no reason to die so early, you got counter, why fight,, why push, why not just sit under turret for 5 minutes and farm up, you made the mistake. im not a pro either i was only silver 2 last season and got place in bronze 5, but im bronze 2 now in just 2 days, you can carry easily and win most of your game if you play right. i also know sometimes i get destroyed and no matter how defensive and safe i play i keep getting killed i had those matches too, but for 890 percent of your matches you should SURVIVE LANE not win lane. member farm is gold gold is items, items is fed What do oyu think about my respond?
