DISCLAIMER AND TRIGGER WARNING

Before we begin with this, yes i am indeed personally tilted from this and am fully Aware that the negativity known in the boards will downvote me into regretting that i ever made my post to begin with, so i apologize beforehand if i seem in any way aggressive, tilted or otherwise emotional in this. i take cruelty very personal. having said that, lets get this over with.

The title speaks for itself. just had a personal case of solo Q in which the jungler banning my intended pick for midlane, instalocking sivir with cleanse and ghost (AS THE JUNGLER NOTE) and laughed at how this played out. my supposted teammates had to bite in some serious Insults, and to top it off, everyone else refused to dodge, so i had to do it.

everything fine and well, right? no. considering i had a 1 win 1 loss promo situation and dodging in ranked Counts as a automatic loss just destroyed my entire day, made me literally regret launching the game for today, waking up and even living for a few seconds.

I totally get riot wants to motivate people into playing more actively to the end, diminish afks, but does it have to be in such a...brutal all-or-nothing situation in which youre twice as likely to get nothing? sure, i gave my personal experience in as an example, but even casting me aside, just thinking about the fact that at least one Person out of 5 in ranked gets to suffer a loss without even playing at all because someone else felt like being a douchebag for the fun of it.

and since it is before the game, you can't report the someone. and since blocking doesn't filter your matchmaking, you still possess the chance to meet that very Person again. sure, on an average day that chance is small, but it is still possible, and not only that, assuming you Play early in the morning or very late in the night where the amount of Player drops to an absolute minimum, that chance becomes unreasonably high too, which means once we spot a troll in one of those low-playerrate moments, we have either the enforced choice to switch gamemodes and go to normals, ,which might not Sound that bad but still is just as horrible in Terms of the troll base, or we take a break from league for an hour or two. both options fully contradict riots intent for encouraging competitive action in ranked sceneries.

yes, im fucking tilted right now, thank the lord for whoever created stressballs so i can vent out in private without collateral damage, but rationally seeing this situation i really have to ask if we as the Players, the parts that are fair, devoted and well-behaving, really deserve such a brutal punishment for actually doing something good for our teammates if we dodge an very obvious and very toxic troll. either implement an pre-game reporting system, or get rid of the auto-loss in ranked queue dodges. i can with just the smallest activity check find threads about this every. single. god damn. day. without an exception. this has been a topic for really damn long now and even thought comparably low in attention to Things like the new runes, this is one of the more bullshit, unfair and toxic Elements of league of legends.

the fact that you can punish someone, that (thank god) has common sense, with low priority queue, leaver buster AND an LP loss for being a dick in champ select because that Person won't have any of it is just dumb, i can't sweettalk this even if i wanted to, it is just flat out stupid. take away my personal tilt, see this completely rational, and you, as the Reader, tell me, how this is fair? and thank the god it is only restricted to the one who dodges and not all the 5 Players, but that it only affects one person, and thus has no extreme collateral damage, that it only hits one Person? that only adds to the feeling of being punished for having done good, for having spared your teammates 20 minutes of agony. (yes, 20 not 15 because a ff15 vote must be a flawless 5/0 and we all know trolls never surrender).

i'll say it again, either give us an independant reporting system that is freely available and not just accessable after a game, or massively tone down the punishments dodging gives ranked Players.

i had to rewrite this 3 times because i was venting into my keyboard to relieve some stress, and even thought by the time this gets posted i will feel a lot better, it still pushes all red buttons in my human sanity if i think about the brutality of ranked dodge punishments compared to the reason why said dodges happen.

rant end, any questions or additions? all comments are welcome, just bear in mind that this is, despite having named so many Facts, an post based on an opinion, and just because im butthurt over it (and i have no shame admitting it) won't give you any excuses to be so too.

Isnt a dodge only counted as a loss for a promos?

Pretty understandable for that.

"I had to do it"

No, you CHOSE to do it. Unfortunately, it's optimal for SOMEONE to. But YOU CHOSE to be the one to do it.

Since there isn't yet a system to report or deal with champion select trolls, all dodges are treated the same. If you choose to dodge intentionally for whatever reason, you're accepting the consequences for it.

I didnt chose to. I had no choice thats the thing. The other 3 kept persisting they would rather troll themselves than dodge. I was forced into it.

no you chose to do it and you choose to lose LP, there is not problem it is not unfair.

you do NOT however lose MMR so even if you dodge 30 in a row and dropped form plat to goldv you would still have plat MMR and skip divisions <- this is how realibly skipping division is performed via que dodging, brings WR nearer to 50% to ''fool'' the system as it has been proven that more win % = your matched with lesser players on your team, its to balance out and works in theory but in reality is just annoying as hell.

anyway theres some info for you.
