@Meddler/Xypherous/etc. - What was so wrong about Miss Fortune being an early-game bully?

Before you guys gave MF her overhaul (RIP AP MF), she had a pretty nice niche as an early-game lane bully, which let her be good as a counterpick against late-game hypercarries like Vayne (AFAIK). But then you normalized her to be more homogenized compared to other carries, and now she just isn't as attractive a pick (in terms of gameplay, not in terms of her curves).

I have a suspicion that you guys didn't like her being a lane bully, but I gotta ask why. Why was her lane-bully nature such a bad thing? Would it be so bad if she were rescaled again to make her more like that now?

Because Riot would do ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING to protect their precious ADCs

She was never meant to be a lane-bully. Her niche was the AOE adc. She shines the best in team fight where she can continue to shred multiple people. Curse of the Sad Bullet Time is very very real.
