List of Champs who lane well vs Ekko
Who has had repeated sucess vs Ekko with what champ? Just curious.
As someone who has played Ekko a solid amount, Lissandra was one of the toughest lanes I've faced

Almost everything destroys Ekko; he's a champion who requires his opponents to fuck up big time in order to succeed. The only reason people are complaining here is because they're trash-tier players.

I was called OP and pretty much got raged at while chatting with the enemy team. "You're only winning cause he's OP, blah blah blah". That was the first normal game i won as Ekko. The previous 2 I lost. I may not be plat, gold or even silver, but if you call me OP after I earned a losing streak with the same champ using the same build, then either he is, I got better, or you're trash and using excuses.
Also, the enemy was a Syndra who was too passive against me. She tried to focus farm when she should have put her balls in my face. That's what the Syndra the game after did. Ugh...the flashbacks.
I've done well against him mid lane. Really focus on farming so you can level up before he does. I went all in on him with Morgana as I reached level 6 before he did, ulted and bam he was dead.
Morgana can pretty much destroy any AP in lane. The only hope players have against her is to play an AD assassin or try to outfarm her. xD
That's what I love about her :D Although I have done well against AD champs with her mid lane, I destroyed a Yasuo once lol lately I've been getting AP opponents when I take her mid. I'm glad for that as her shield only blocks magic damage :)
Anyone who can poke him down, I find that due to how his ultimate works its much better at healing him from a ton of burst rather than whittled down bit by bit. Also he has no built in sustain besides his ult so he doesn't recover well from poke.
I've been spectating high elo games and so far

these champs literally rekt him.
Yeah I just played as Ahri against an Ekko with a solid history with him, and basically controlled his game.
Ahri makes sense, considering she can easily match mobility with Ekko, and she has stronger early-game poke, and if you play right, you won't stand in his W.
Though Ekko starts to shine in teamfights and ganks (All that CC and hidden damage!), not necessarily 1v1 in lane (I've been successful playing against him for the most part in lane).
It's not about these champs (for the most part) it's people clearly being good with those champs vs. people who have not yet figured out how to play ekko yet. The mere fact that his numbers and kit utility is absurd especially for a highly mobility assassin tells you there is something wrong.
This is the kind of thing that has happened too much before. Same thing with Elise and more so with Lee Sin. People say "oh he's not Op, you just need to not be bad at the game and know how to play against him," when they are in fact absurdly broken and are more than needing of a nerf. Lee sin and Elise Both pre-nerf had undeniable numbers and power in retro-spect and I'm hoping people don't make the same stupid mistake and complain about Ekko not being OP when he clearly is.
Literally just go look at the numbers and the utility in his kit ontop of everything else he has. He is REALLY overloaded, just like Lee Sin and Elise were before they got nerfed hard enough to balance out the huge utility (even got rid of some on Lee Sin with the AS slow that used to be there) with bad numbers.
Implying challenger players that I've been watching don't know how to play Ekko yeah ok. Just so you know Ekko is one of the most balanced assassins out there. He is an assassin therefore he is squishy as hell so he needs burst + high mobility like any other assassin (Zed, Kas, Talon, Yasuo, LB, Fizz etc.). Not to mention even a light cc shuts down Ekko. He is all about KS. Cry babies have been whining about every single champion that requires capacity to play. Not even gonna argue about you comparing Ekko with Elise and Lee Sin lmao. You clearly have no idea what OP means. Go check Ekko's pick - win rate. If he was OP, broken people would abuse it. Butthurt kiddos can't handle Ekko's ult because ''sometimes'' he can get away with it that's why they are moaning about Ekko. Hell even I've seen threads people asking Riot to change Ekko's kit from the scratch. Thank God Riot's balance team don't give a flying shit about minority who think they know everything better. Sick and tired of seeing those NERF DIZ CHAMP, DIZ CHAMP BROKEN REMOVE IT PLZ RITO threads.
Ekko's passive = Gnar's W. Ekko's Q = Ahri's Q but slower. Ekko's W = Kinda combined of Viktor's W and Bard's R but not like them because Ekko's stun is conditional and hard to get. Ekko's E = Graves, Lucians dash.
Anyways, no matter how hard whiners try I don't think Riot will nerf Ekko to the ground or change his kit. They know the assassin hate is real in this community.
No, challenger tier people DON'T Know how to play Ekko entirely effective, in comparison to champs that have been out for years that people have lots of experience with and know the ins and outs of how to play them.
Same situation with Bard, where people still DO NOT know how to play him the most effectively even though they know how he works, even for people in LCS and challenger tier.
Ekko being both an Assassin, Having Sustained Damage, and MASSIVE AOE CC, tells you how atrocious of a mistake was made. Those 3 things NEVER go together unless you are up for a massive amount of re-balancing and cutting of numbers. Same exact thing happened with Yasuo not so long ago, and Lee Sin, and Elise. Overloaded kits + Ridiculous numbers = Broken simply because it's hard to balance a champion who can do virtually everything.
FYI this isn't rocket science it won't take years for pro players to understand how Ekko works. I assume you don't even watch challenger players (all around the world) who play Ekko. Btw, I'm pretty damn sure any of them with Ekko will rekt you in a heartbeat with your best champ. Not because Ekko is broken or OP just because they figured out how to play him. You are like a broken tape whenever I read your comment all I see bla bla bla BROKEN bla bla bla overloaded kit bla bla bla OP bla bla bla ridiculous numbers bla bla bla NERF IT RITO PLZZZ bla bla bla.
Ekko the boy who rustled cry babies jimmies.
Just a thought, no testing done but
has poke, can floor him with R, and has a stun for team fights.
That sounds like a good idea. Wait for him to blow his dash, then drop the box around him, kill that mobility
I saw
do really well against him. And from experience
can do well and
is ridiculous for him to lane against.

Anivia, LeBlanc, Morgana, Xerath, Fizz, Lux.
100-0 champion or ultra disable Leblanc can 100-0 him before he ult Malzhar have silence, surpression and can 100-0 him if he jumps in
i saw a morde rip apart an Ekko. might be worth a shot
Ekko's weakness is to just go and kill him.
Anytime that I have went against an ekko, im playing a champion that can chase. If you can endure his burst, you can pound him down.
That shield is crazy though.
Sounds like bruisers, which naturally counters certain assassins for that exact reason.
If the ekko knows what they are doing, they wouldn't engage a fight they would knowingly lose. They should wait until late or until they get fed enough to blow up even tanks or bruisers.
Yeah lissansra fucks up ekko he literally has zero options u even try to close to her she will just w q e :P I've been using lissandra all weej since ekko came out
Lux can be strong , but it's almost impossible to see a good Lux player
Nidalee does fairly well vs him, but cannot win a sustained fight vs him.
Ahri and Azir. Conveniently the two champions I play the most in midlane.
Lissandra and Malzahar are pretty strong against him, they both have poke from a distance and a way to hold him down long enough to kill him. When playing Lissandra, if Ekko dashes to you simply W-E and walk away. Poke him about halfway down and then E W Q R or Flash W R Q Ignite Q, then E away. With Malzahar, poke him down with some space aid and then just Flash R Ignite, easy as that.
Ekko's kit is massively overloaded (control mage, assassin, AP version of Riven carry). Think of playing against him like Pre-nerf Lee Sin, or Pre-nerf Elise. There are very few champs who will auto-win you a lane against them, but in reality if you are more skillful than your opponent you can easily outplay them and win lane even though they are playing a broken champ.
Though if i would have to choose, Fizz could work well in theory if you can anticipate that ulti activation and hop over it with your E. Fizz's damage is easily high enough to clean up the ekko when his abilities are down.
I've also had a lot of success playing Akali, and Jayce against ekko and winning. If the ekko at least half knows what they are doing with him though, you need to be careful to make as few mistakes as possible because they will more than likely try to capitalize off of it. The weakest part of ekko is his early game mana-hungry abilities, but this is almost no different than playing Fizz early game, so once again if the player knows how to actually PLAY ekko, then it's a whole different story.
Try to play passive if they know how to play ekko and pick a champ that you can farm safely with, and if they don't play know how to play ekko well, wait until they make a stupid mistake then capitalize it for as much as you can.
I mean, yeah he doesn't have sustain, but his waveclear is amazing, and his ult allows him to insta teleport back to lane every 80-100 secs (depending on cdr) He can just build a morello with double doran rings, and farm it out against any matchup (easy or hard)
I was against an extremely passive lux, and all she did was farm at turret, so i just threw q's at the wave and ulted back to lane whenever i needed items or mana
People need to know how to build ekko which they are still figuring out. Syndra doesn't have good Sustain, yet she wrecks in lane with the CC and zoning.
Ekko's laning is pretty weak but he shines in ganks and team fights and that's when he becomes "broken" because he really has an overloaded kit (his wave clear is good like you said, particularly a little bit later in lane when his Q is leveled up).
His kit is easily counterplayable when it's just 1v1 in lane, but in a big 5v5 fight when things are more chaotic potentially, you can have an issue dodging all the CC and staying 100% out of his range (especially if they know what they are doing).
Remember though that Ekko's ult can be a free TP though if you are fast enough (like you said), and it also heals him, so he does have a form of sustain, not to mention spell vamp synergizes with ekko well when he heals and takes more damage than his max like (the spell vamp keeping him alive), allowing him to basically ult to restore full HP with the massive damage ulti and brief momentary immunity he gets and the massive mobility the ulti can give him. It's just a matter of knowing how to play ekko, which I'm sure people will figure out soon enough.

I do well against him as
, dodging his Q is vital though. If you poke him down enough at around Lv. 6 so that he blows his Ultimate, you can go in with your own and finish him off.
any champion that can burst him down outpoke him or dodge the stun
