The Q is 60/80/100/120/140, 40% more mana than his ulti at max level. Why is the cost so high? It would seem this could discourage maxing Q first until you build more mana through items or at least force serious decision making in its use.

l Helios l1 votesKk. Never heard it said that way. Although the heal seems to be quite a paltry amount outside of having all 3 charges up. At like 2000 bonus hp, that adds about 30 per charge, so 180 + 90 + .6 AP for 140 mana. It just seems outrageous to me. We will see I guess.
Fondling Gems1 votesyou forget that you will almost always be hitting 2 people minimum, so 360 + 180 + 1.2 AP, when this goes in an aoe is is pretty powerful, esp considering how spammy it is (don't let the 15 sec cd mess you up, it is reduced by 5 seconds each of your next 2 autos after you use an ability, pricey, but that is a lot of healing)

maybe the cdr from gauntlet will actually be enough. but i can see this being a powerful item on him being able to spam his q, and the way the stats synergize with his kit.

DREADN0UGHT1 votesI am thinking that since linking up with an ally with Bastion makes your spells cast from them aswell, it can ens up being a double heal for the cost of one.
They said the linked ally is also the source of Tarics spells casting, meaning the heal could stack if I am not wrong.
We shall see.

Sona, Nami, Alistar, and Bard also have very high mana costs and mediocre heals as well for the same reasons.
