just stop the Yasuo QQ

If you want to beat him so bad don't ever pick a mage against him, pick someone tanky. Anyone tanky will work. Hell Nautilus even works. Just don't pick a counter into a counter and ask why you got completely killed in lane

(pssst!....if you see his profile you will know that he is another yasuo main in disguise.)

And all I see is complaining, not using actual words of importance. like the 1000 rest of you guys

Valexfor1 votes

A lot of people actually do the math and present it to you guys, but when they do, you either just negate the evidence or shut up and go complain in other thread about people who complain about Yasuo, then it happens again all over again. RITO knows he's unbalanced and unhealthy, but he is popular so, unless he becomes for some reason unpopular, they won't do anything, they need popular champs to both be and feel STRONG, and what better way to make a champ feel strong than actually making him stronger than most others? Since as long as he is strong and flashy, a lot of people will like him, and those very same people will defend him, shielding them from all blame and making it seem like they are right.

You Yasuo mains (like lee mains, I am not against Yasuo, I am against unhealthy champs who are allowed to exist) think skills are involved when to be fair, he's only hard the first games, and since he's "hard" he's got all the tools to save his ass from getting punished for his errors (an op shield passive, an op wall that blocks ANY projectile even if he misplaces it as long as the timing is right, unlimited dashes with no cd) because we all know that: you have to learn from you mistakes, but you don't have to get punished for them or you might actually understand that you're not as good as you think you are, and we don't want that. I played Renekton against him, still lost because every time I punished him, with 3 Q on minions he had full health again (thank you Warlord's Bloodlust), and Renekton is supposed to be one of his hardest counters (and nope, I didn't wasted W on shield I'm not that stupid). Also, tanks are useless since he's got all that ArPen on ult and even though it's bonus armor, it still hurst with his crits.

So, please, stop all these thread and replies about "Stop QQ about Yasuo", he's BS, I know it, you know it, RITO knows it, everyone knows it, but since he'spopular no one will do anything to him, so we have all the rights to complain since we want a fair and balanced game to enjoy, Rito doesn't want to take action? Then at least let us complain.

So ppl should have never played Yasuo in order to make a post about him not being OP?

I guess you don't see the double standard in this post

Stars Shaper1 votes

Double standards are exactly what Yasuo whiners apply in every thread. Yasuo gets nothing more than other Melee Carries he even has less defenses and no sustain because he has to make his steroid reliable while Yi, Fiora and Trynda can build all the damage and the sustain they want.

Now get down your biased pedestal and don't try to ptronize.

Yawn. Passive shield and windwall and keystone masteries. Don't get me started.

Stars Shaper1 votes

Yawn your butt.

Yi/Fiora/Trynda have full immunity to damage (while both Wind Wall and the shield are perfectly controllable by the opponent and don't offer a full immunity to anything) and... (this might be too hard for you to know, but try endure it m'kai?) they can build that same keystone while keeping all their kit! Le Gasp!

Why are you comparing yasuo with these champions in the 1st place. they have different roles. Now this is called double standard. Yasuo is generally hated because of the absurd mastery synergy with his passive while retaining total immunity to skillshots which is not controllable by the enemy. You just proved yourself wrong in this argument with your own words.

Stars Shaper1 votes

Because they are of the same class, Melee Carries. Can't understand that? (I told you already a couple of posts above) Well man, go back to school. You probably have just read the keystone whine thread and went on the wagon. 0 knowledge of the matter and keep spouting balance sentences.

item 3075

That's it. That's all.

I don't care if you're up against him with a damn Jinx. You buy Thornmail, you have at LEAST a 60% chance of winning any one-on-one fight with Yasuo. I love playing against Yasuo for this very reason. I main tanky supports, so as soon as I see Yasuo, I grin and think "Welp, 4v5."

And an Executioner for good measure, if he's built lifesteal.

JavelinJoe1 votes

yeah build tanky on the ADC great strategy, btw did you know his ult has armor pen? Or that 60% is BS or a statistic. Basically what you're saying is to rush a thornmail on every champion as their first item, since yasuo only needs item 1018 and item 3087 to have 100% crit and automatically has 15% crit lifesteal and lvl 6 gives him 50%, yes 50% bonus armor pen against ulted enemy's.

"So, he ults you since you are Jinx with no escape and his q's range can reach you in team fights since you don't have very great ranged damage anymore on your rockets (attack speed cut by 15% lowering overall DPS). But lucily you prioritized Thornmail as a first item (and only fed slightly in laning because you had no damage output) and can survive the damage his ult dealt. But oh no! He halved your armor from thronmail. And with no damage items of your own to kill him with, and with his 15% crit LS, he is going to drop you faster than Vel'koz dropped in overall games played after a couple weeks from his release."

You main tanky support you say, tell me, how often do you see a Yasuo play as the Support or the ADC? I would assume not very often with this being the MARSMEN patch and everyone scrambling to try out the new ADC reworks. In every one of my games that Yasuo appears in he is either Top or Mid. Lastly, since you main tanky supports, you build Thornmail because you scale ARMOR/MR/Health better than ADC's and APC's. So yes Thornmail is great on you, but not ADC's especially Jinx. And before you complain that "no shit you don't build thornmail as a first item", let me ask you, when would you? Obviously it can't be the last because that would mean you just die early on. As a ADC main, I can tell you that there is little room in an ADC's build for stacking armor.

Zero Shingetsu1 votes

I don't really sweat the numbers, I just go by my personal experiences. And in my personal experience, thornmail against any team with Yasuo only fails me maybe one out of every 12 games, no matter who I build it on. Another fun little trick is to take Support Teemo and build him tanky with thornmail, because people focus Teemo as a force of habit. Works just about EVERY time.

And no, I do in fact build thornmail first against Yasuo. Not as ADC, but I do keep it in mind if the enemy has a ton of AD or a Yasuo that's good at jumping on me. As for Yasuo vs Support, that doesn't matter. If I'm playing Sejuani and the other side has ANY kind of ADC, we're in good shape if I make a target out of myself with thornmail. Then later in the game, it comes into play against Yasuo.

Edit: Oh, you mean when do you build it on an ADC. I can't say for sure there, as I don't have predetermined builds. I alter my build based on the flow of the game and the circumstances thereof. If I'm having a rocky start, I build it first and play very carefully. If I'm having a good start, I build more normal ADC items and wait on it until if and when the enemy AD starts abusing me. If we have a good tank, I may never build it at all on an ADC. It's situational. Every item is for me.

I don't even know what to say about this anymore either!

The tragedy in this is that there are all these posts about Yasuo and how Yasuo is not balanced or has a healthy kit, and there are all these players who regard that as something unimaginable, like a triangle with angles that add to more than 180 degrees.

What gets me is that there are people who say there is no way he has issues...

but say as much as that in their own posts. No, they even go beyond having issues and saying they are over-powered, and giving reasons they are, while simultaneously denying it! I can't even grasp how little sense this makes!

So I just have to avoid playing an entire category of champions, namely those meant to go mid, in order to actually go mid against him. Gotcha.

Baunjo1 votes

There is no " Play X champion or do not play X champion. " You could beat yasuo with fucking thresh if you wanted to, you just need to understand how to trade with him and how to zone him. If you pick a champion like Lux or Viktor and have no idea how to time things right, of course you will get screwed. Not even specifically by yasuo.

Some champions just happen to be better against yasuo then others, this applies to literally every champion. Lets take nasus for example, his early game is almost non existent. But if you decide to play a champion that cannot pressure him for cs, he will no doubt outscale you lategame and probably 1v5 the enemy team. A pick like nautilus would be broken as shit against yasuo, but that does not mean that you cannot play other champions.

I dont know who came up with the idea that you just win simply by picking X champion because they are " broken " but that is total bullshit. You win by being smarter than the enemy.
