Pick Veigar and every time you see the !, your whole team stands in the circle so he can't ult in.

If you face Vi, Rengar or Sated Yi and youre the ADC, take zhonya as defensive item, old school trolling technique that works.

Pick support/mid. Rengar is now worthless.

Whenever you guys are together and you see a rengar go invisible stay together, like tightly packed. It is hard for the Rengar to click on an ADC when there are 4 people on top of him/her. Obviously this doesn't apply when there is an enemy Ori, Malphite, etc.

If you have flash, flash away as soon as he jumps you so he misses his combo

That or just save your escapes for as soon as he jumps, not while he's still ulting

It honestly depends on what role you're playing. The simplest thing U can do is wait to burst/cc him and hope that your adc knows how to not die in under 2 seconds.

I'm usually playing soraka against a Rengar, I have to save ult for it if they're using it to initiate, get a silence off as fast as possible, and spam W (and maybe Q). Repeat this enough and then U become the primary target. At this point U job is basically done because as a support U usually have the sense to stay near teammates (totally not venting); U can either flash the pounce, find a way to not die with U support intuition or get some damn armor (again, totally not venting).

Sona, I just R followed by W and E (i've seen someone like A Wild AP Sona just straight up kill the Rengar)

As Lux or Morgana, U have to bind the Rengar as soon as possible. With Morgana specifically U can also black shield Ur adc or maybe activate ult if he gets too close to you (this is easier to pull off on a Mid Morg than a support or even jungle Morg cause U can get RoA early on.

Rengar's a champion who preys upon (heh, get it?) positioning errors and punishes the scattered teamfighters and ppl who solo farm or split push knowing that they can't 1v1 him.

i have one solution that i done a lot... if you see ! above your champion and just stand near to the bush... when he is about to jump on you... just walk into the bush and hit him...

rengar wont see and miss you... that almost always works as long as the bush is safe... btw dont try to juke him because he will jump on you again... hopefully you are with someone with some cc or shield...

2. Max CDR and take movement speed quints.
3. Eat the ADC and place him at the fountain. Repeat until the ADC stops trying to leave the fountain.

yell at your adc to spend some gold on armor, and if that happens, your adc might survive long enough(>0.5sec) for you to actually peel for him without haveing insane reactions. Also, good deep vision, if you see where & when rengar enters stealth, you can be somewhat prepared and thus react faster compared to unexpected murdeering out of nowhere. Also, chaps with pre-cast cc can create a defensive zone under your carry once the "!" apears, like Sora's silence, Veigar's E or Victor's gravityfield.

But mostly, it's fucking him early. His early isn't that great(not directly weak, but vulnerable, he has little defensive mechanics, so if he's top, ganking pressure can keep him down, and in the jungle his early clear is rather bad, and with some deepwards you might be able to fight him without empowered skill up which for many junglers means he is easy prey), if he falls behind, he needs a long time to come back and reach one-shot potential, and most rengars play horrible from behind and just feed most of the time once they are behind.
