It seems that sugar rush is in the lead which surprised me at first, because I thought for sure that she would be outclassed by the other two

But then I finally realized what had happened. The people who voted for sugar rush enjoy the cute skin like it provides.

HOWEVER. Demon Tristana and Galaxy BOTH share the same aggressive theme that Tristana players love.

THATS THE PROBLEM. one group of people are stuck between demon and galaxy ( the aggressive line)

and the other group only have 1 skin to vote for which is candy (the cuter skin line)

demon and galaxy voters are CLEARLY split up. which prevents them from winning over the candy rush skin line.

Or, Sugar Rush is turning out to be more popular because it's a more unique theme for Tristana. She's already got a spacey, sci-fi skin in Rocket Girl, two if you could Omega Squad, and then she's already got tons of edgy skins like Guerilla and Buccaneer. That's not even counting the fact that Demon is associated with the Halloween skins (of which she has Bewitching) and making Tristana shoot fire is nothing new, as she already does that in Dragon Trainer. So overall, the most unique concept is Sugar Rush, which is a unique aesthetic to Tristana that has the most potential for more diverse particles we haven't seen yet, as well as overloading us with a sickeningly cute version of Tristana that only Earnest Elf brushes up against.

That, and it would also align her with Lulu and Poppy, who also have candy themed skins.

I think it's a bit too early to tell, but I also think that you're putting too much emphasis on one line being "cute" and the other two being "aggro". You actually saw a similar thing with the Illaoi skin: She got two "serious" skins (Resistance/Space Infection) and one "silly" skin (Explorer) yet the serious skin won out in the end.

That said, I'm all for having up to 5 "skin ideas" next time Riot wants to do this: Two serious, Two silly and one "Wildcard" that's an out of left field pick.

I agree, honestly. :( As a Tristana main, I don't want Sugar Rush. I'm sorry but I don't like it. It doesn't suit her. I want Demon or Galaxy. I hate Sugar Rush Tristana's hair, her expression, her outfit, her color scheme... none of it looks like Tristana. Why does she have a bob with dreads? Why doesn't she have a cute hot pink pixie cut? and why is her skin yellow? And is she Cait now? Why does she have a top hat?

She's a militant but playful champion; she isn't cutesy in the way that Sugar Rush provides. And its frustrating to me because the other two fit her personality sooo much better. The particle affects on her hair could be so cute for Little Demon and the problem of her gun being too similar to Dragon Trainer is very fixable.

Demon and Galactic gunner seem really similar to previous skins, DT and Guerilla, respectively. I voted for candy trist to match my lulu skin.

I disagree with your post. The galaxy and demon are not both the same type of skin. Demon is much more fantasy/whimsical while the other one more futuristic. They fill distinct niche each. No point in being a sore loser from the start.

I will say that I personally prefer Sugar Rush anyways, but on mobile it appears first in the voting screen and some people might vote for it on accident while trying to scroll to the other options.

As a Candy King Ivern degenerate player, I look forward to more candy teammates for my kingdom.

sugar rush looks so distinctive compare to the other two, i guess space stuff and demon stuff are a bit generic? and while we have cute tristana skins i think shooting candy beats the probably fire from demon and space laser bullets from the other

As someome who loves Riot Tristana for her pink hair I'm all for the Sugar Rush Tristana skin.

She isn't my main but close, one of my most played champs.

Just a very split preferance base.

Hat they should do is take the top theme winner apply it to trist. Then take the two concepts that lose and apply them to characters with a lack of skins. I bet people would be pleasantly surprised by a space themed skin or a demon themed ornn.
