So, now that a day has passed, share with me your opinion about Pyke.

I know 1 day is not enough to judge a champ's over all performance and state, but I would like to know how people see him so far as a support/assassin

Against live players, he struggles. I feel like he can't really do well as a support because his dash is incredibly telegraphed and easily avoided - they simply sidestep and they're out of it. His yank, again, is super telegraphed, and his hook is really only minorly effective as a quick hit slow. I don't think he can do a lot to add pressure to a lane as a support through damage alone, nor can he effectively CC people, which leads him to feeling bleh. It also doesn't help that his visual radius for his camo is about the same distance he can dash, which means that you're not catching anyone by surprise by using E out of stealth. It all translates into a pretty lackluster champ who just feels like a tag-along-tertiary-carry.

Squishy AF that his out of combat healing rarely comes into effect especially with how out of control damage is No real opening support item. He wants AD but has to pick HP, AP or sustain He kit encourages him to to all in/initiate yet is an assassin with fewer items/gold bc he's support so doesnt really do it well

Played him as support. I played him kinda like thresh. Game him the resolve tree with aftershock, bone plating, second wind and overgrowth. Then took sorcery with celerity and water walker. I think resolve worked because it gave him more sustain and still compensated building damage.

He was fun and was able to set up plays like thresh. Third item I would definitely build resistance depending on you’re enemy (dead man’s, spirit, etc). I don’t think he is weak because he gets tons of ad from his build. I think just getting resistances compensates for his eternal squishiness. R is gonna take some practice because it isn’t a point and click lock on move so baiting out dashes and flash will be necessary. Overall because I like playing thresh, Pyke will be fun and a good addition.
