[Poll] which would you want to see more? Reworks or new champs?

Personally I’d like to see more reworks for a bit instead of new champs, cause some champs are in dire need of it

my issue is their new champions are always game breaking abominations. And their reworks are either trash or game breaking abominations. Personally, I'd like for them to stop adding to the game and start fixing what is broken. Damage too high, Jungle is cancer but is the most important role, certain champions are completely out of balance (some of them got a buff recently because LC$ Big Plays). Its just piling up and making the game unfun. One team has 20 kills to 4 and its over in 30 minutes if they decided to actually end.

We don't need any more unbalanced champions being released. It's better to just focus on what we have now.

Chembaron Yamada9/29/2019, 8:42:46 AM5 votes

Since I wanted to see the results, I voted for new champions.

But in fact, I want both equally. While seeing all these outdated champions updated is quite cool (I really liked what they did with Warwick and Urgot and hope to see more such col updates in the future), there are still tons of champion archetypes we are missing in this game currently. I would like to see Riot's take on a true modern medicine based medic, a champion with a hextech chainsaw..... and most importantly finally a chembaron/ess!!!!!

i'd like to go with: 3. Reverts! Preferably a revert of the entier game to (end)S2 state, though i'd be happy with anything befor 5.22...

ShyImagoghnar9/29/2019, 6:43:03 PM4 votes

i would rather see neither. i want bugs fixed and broken shit nerfed

did you know vlad can dodge his own q heal with pool?

gileskd9/29/2019, 10:31:44 PM4 votes

reworks ARE new champs the old ones just get deleted [galio-happy]

Keiaga9/29/2019, 4:25:12 AM3 votes

I feel like they've been doing a good job balancing new champs with reworks already. There are are least some visual reworks I'd like to see from Lulu Shaco Kennen

Illabethe9/29/2019, 3:10:57 PM2 votes

New champions keep the game new and exciting...... WHEN THE COMMUNITY ADOPTS THEM.

When they don't (Zoe Yuumi Qiyana ) They become targets of frustration, wasted resources, and generally make enjoyment of the game as a whole flatten.

That being said, Reworks are also important, and although there's some resistance to favorite champs getting adjusted, it generally helps maintain that old champs don't necessarily flatten out as an entertainment factor.

Jennifer4209/29/2019, 2:00:11 PM2 votes

neither but i prefer a rework because it doesnt directy add more brokenness

Juice9/29/2019, 1:59:17 PM2 votes

New champions. More reworks just cause problems and make champions worse to play against

In the past, I would have said reworks. But now, new champs are overloaded cancer and reworks are overloaded cancer. I'd rather see brand new overloaded cancer than to have new overloaded cancer at the cost of deleting a former champ that already has a dedicated fan base.

Small-scale VGUs would be preferable. Really, the time and money should go into adjusting numbers everywhere (damage, exp, base stats, etc.) and reworking items IMO.

1 Inch and Proud9/29/2019, 4:44:05 PM2 votes

this year they flooded the game with new champs.. they were all exhausting.

Iron Phantom9/29/2019, 4:46:26 PM2 votes

I'd like to see more VGU reworks such as Shyvana Volibear Fiddlesticks DrMundo Zilean Udyr Tryndamere

Akali is SO HOT9/30/2019, 7:06:33 PM2 votes

Both are bad.

MrFawknSunshine9/29/2019, 4:07:16 AM2 votes

neither

riot isnt going to stop new champs as it is 1) a source of $$$$ 2) updates game play to keep "fresh" to keep people playing

i dont feel there needs to be as many reworks as others suggest.

i would rather riot fix bugs/client find a way to better balance the game over reworks/new champs

CubanThund3r9/29/2019, 6:09:51 PM2 votes

yikes. 52 votes for new reworks. i feel like reworks just upset people and usually just remove a champion from the game. old urgot compared to new urgot is 2 different champions. only thing old aatrox and new aatrox share is a revive passive/ult, so two different champions old galio and new galio are also pretty different from each other.

Zac rework broke the zac community

irelia got way too many dashes. akali was given true stealth.

I don't like reworks. most of them are just inside jobs to remove champions and replace them with other ones. and mini reworks are.. eh...

Velasan10/4/2019, 11:25:57 PM1 votes

Neither. The latest releases all land up going through a year of buffs and nerfs before having their kit changed completely at the end of it regardless.

I would rather that there is serious discussion over the issues with the game than release or rework another champion.

Destello Azul9/29/2019, 10:02:30 AM1 votes

Nothing, no more reworks/new champs. JUST FUCKING NOTHING.

5050BS9/29/2019, 1:58:54 PM1 votes

There are too many champs that just cant cut it in the current champ design. They are so out dated.

Hunkmenlordy9/29/2019, 3:27:38 PM1 votes

It's hard to say before you know what they will do to either rework or new champ

The Highest Noon9/29/2019, 3:40:19 PM1 votes

There are Demacian champions that do not react to literal anti-Demacian terrorism. There are Vastayan champs that do not reference whatsoever to being Vastayan. There is a champion who received a whole ass daughter, who's had the exact same gameplay since 2009, and he STILL hasn't received an update in gameplay nor dialogue to address the fact that his daughter is alive and well.

Seriously, Riot needs to fucking stop releasing new champs and work on fixing their lore and updating extremely older champions. This shit is insane.

GreenKnight9/29/2019, 4:36:17 PM1 votes

New champions, obviously. But, releases should be toned down a lot more than now.

And reverts would be nice, but...

Hi im 129/29/2019, 5:31:11 PM1 votes

honestly? fucking neither mate we don't need any more of season 9 omegafuckinglul aidsfests in the game. reworks are just new champions while removing the old ones anyways so I'd rather just take straight up new ones.

Neptunia xoxo9/29/2019, 6:27:31 PM1 votes

I'm scared to see both but if I seriously would have to choose then I would go with reworks since Riot normally spends only a small amount of time working on a new champion and a lot of times they ignore feedback from the champion play testers (Zoe is a huge example of this happening) but when it comes to reworks they do happen to spend quite a decent amount of time on them.

Douglas Funnie9/29/2019, 6:49:53 PM1 votes

How about.

No reworks and No new champs. Riot should just fix the game, instead.

Tomoe Gozen9/29/2019, 10:30:13 PM1 votes

Both. I like reworks as this gives me hope that i can finally get to play certain champions i found unappealing for years (like Singed, Mundo, Urgot, etc). Also, i need a Shyana rework, she plays like old Eve.

New champions because we can always look forward to more content and new game mechanics, which are fun to play with.

Bârd9/29/2019, 10:36:58 PM1 votes

Small scale reworks.

Change what needs to be changed, don't just go wE tuRNeD iT iNTo a sKIlLshoT and add 50% damage.

SilentBomber9/30/2019, 3:01:23 AM1 votes

Fact - The more champions Riot releases the harder is to balance the game....

Bevdog1019/30/2019, 5:39:36 AM1 votes

I would love more reworks. It doesn't have to be gameplay updates but it can be simply Visual updates, I would love to see Draven do some sweet slick animations to go with his kit. While I don't mind champion releases, I don't want anymore Mid, top or support champions. I want more Jungle champions. Jungle seems sorta meh with people trying to squeeze other champs from different lanes into the jungle.

While I want the out with the old and in with the new for multiple champions that need visual and gameplay updates, I would love to see more Jungle champions come out.

Naono9/30/2019, 11:25:15 AM1 votes

Rework champions become new champions anyway.

But I'll say rework champions, just for some visual and game play update.

Also find new champions not to be so appealing although I really like qiyana's game play.

I don't get to play them often in Aram. Yeah, I haven't played SR since I got to start playing again. Don't really feel like it either. I prefer fast paced games.

On a relative note, I like new champions because their visuals are more pleasant. lol

preternatural9/30/2019, 3:17:34 PM1 votes

more new champs thanks. latest release have been spectacular, more of the same please.

Curious Kat9/30/2019, 6:50:43 PM1 votes

Id'e like them to fix what WE HAVE CURRENTLY, then focus on REWORKS. New champs shouldn't even be on their to do list at this point. The game is a mess, and it needs to be fixed before adding anything new.
