Grievous Wounds

First Grievous Wounds was removed from Tristana and now from MissFortune leaving only Varus summoner 14 and item 3165 to apply the effect. Seems that Heal counter is almost exclusive to the mid lane and AP champions, so where does the "Strategic Diversity" go when you want to counter healing as an AD champion to gain an advantage but can't. At least add an AD item with grievous wounds if the effect is going to be removed from champions.

With the AP item rework we might even see less morellonomicons built as well.

I like to call this patch 5.13.Vlad

Gosh, because when I think "Hmm I need to counter this Swain" or "Damn, Vayne has a lot of lifesteal" I immediately turn to MF.

If you genuinely wanted to counter Heal, you would pick Ignite not a specific champion with a niche effect. League isn't Dota.

Don't give me the bullshit "BUT I DID!" - GV has always just been extra power in a kit that coincidentally ended up helping you, but for better game health, I see no problem for it being removed.

You're right, we should only be allowed to counter a toxic PVP game mechanic like healing every 3-4 minutes with a summoner spell. Good thinking there chief, are you applying to be on the "balance" team? Because with that post right there you're a top-candidate.

ADC picks literally revolve around the meta though... Acting like it's some dota specific thing is just ignorant.

Ashe, Sivir, and Kalista get picked with hard engage teams Vayne gets picked into tanks Lucian and Graves get picked into assassins Caitlyn and Tristana get picked for fast push strategies

Why is it so unrealistic to expect that some ADCs can be picked to counter drain tanking? The reason MF wasn't picked for this purpose before is mostly because she just isn't strong competitively. The rework might fix that, but if you remove the grievous wounds then you're removing that niche entirely and making her just another damage dealing carry.

Because they have entire kits revolving around that fact.

MF has one ability who's SECONDARY effect is GV. No one presses her W and goes like "I'm totally noticing this GV de-buff" over her attack speed boost.

Also, Caitlyn - fast push? Over Sivir? At least try looking down the "siege" isle before you start grasping at straws.

So with that logic i should pick a summoner spells that has a 3 and a half minute cooldown to counter an effect that could be applied several times every minute? Hardly seems fair. Specially if your in a teamfight and can have maybe a Soraka or Sona healing in the back lines.

Varus, The GV of Retribution

Though he managed to protect the GV temple from Rito, when he came back to his village he saw that the Ritoers have killed his friends trist and mf. And from that day on Varus swore to get his vengeance on Rito as the last champion with GV.
