Small Garen buff Idea
make it so while his W is active he does not lose his regen passive no matter what hit him for the duration.

0.4 armor/mr per minion for the first 10 points 0.3 armor/mr per minion until 20 resistance 0.2 armor/mr per minion until 30 resistance 0.1 armor/mr without a cap.

Honestly, what Garen needs is a buff to his HP. This happened in patch 5.16: Health growth reduced to 84.25 from 96. Up his HP/level to 100 and problem solved.
And also they need to implement what was in patch 5.16 notes, but for some stupid reason, was never actually put into the game: Killing enemy units permanently grant 0.25 bonus armor and magic resistance, increased to 1 on large monster/epic monster/enemy champion kills, up to a maximum of 30 bonus resistances.
in late he has like 200hp per sec with warmogs lets give it to him in teamfights [zombie-brand-facepalm]

as much as id like that, it would only be balanced around early game.
lategame, his w is active for up to 6 seconds, in which time he would be able to regenerate 12% maximum health.
could use some love ,the is under average atm
pretty shitty and his counters got even more buffs ,such as riven /renek and there is gnar ,gp ,darius ,basically ,every average+ shits on him till late game + villain cancer mechanic
