Why doesn't Kassadin's Q Interupt LeBlanc's Chain?

Iron Wu··1 votes·920 views

It's pretty much a channel since she has to keep distance within the enemy she places it on. So why can't my Q interrupt it when I play as Kassadin? Very few champions have channel spells.. Seems kinda wasted on just Malazhar ult or Vel'koz ult.

EDIT: It appears it's a tether. So why doesn't Rito make his Q interrupt tethers as well so he has more outplay with his Q.

because it isn't channeled?

Ex. of channeled would be Varus Q

Kassadin doesn't cancel any abilities... it's not a silence anymore (it has been like 2 years since he was like that).

It still interrupts channeled abilities.

It's a tether, not a channel.

Yeah, why do you think no one plays him anymore?

It used to be a blanket 2 second silence, but they nerfed him cause it was bullshit.

They nerfed him because of his high ban rate. He had tons of factors a to why he was powerful.

It isn't a channel.

It is a tether.

Than perhaps they should expand his Q to interrupt tethers as well, therefore make his Q less specific.
