As someone who primarily plays ARAM nowadays, I find that there is much more leavers and toxic individuals than ever before. I believe it's part of the bleedover from ARURF, and individuals not wanting to play "OP" champs. I personally love playing full tank Akali, Diana, Master Yi, and other non-meta picks if the team needs it, that's half the fun of ARAM. We're given 2 rerolls, but it seems people are willing to waste both their rerolls and then another 15 minutes (or whatever the dodge timer is, I don't dodge ARAMs unless someone is immediately toxic in champ select). I honestly don't understand it, we'll have a team of Nautilus, Syndra, Varus, Jhin, and Sona, and the Nautilus will dodge after trying to trade with everyone that owns it - seems like a "If I can't have OP champs nobody else can!" Which is confusing, as they're more than welcome to build full AP Nautilus and nobody has said anything to this individual, I'll build Tank Sona and run into their team for all I care, or they can even reroll Nautilus, it doesn't make sense to me to wait the timer out as the games are generally shorter anyways, and going through 10 champion selects where everyone dodges at 1 second left takes far more time than sitting through one game. I feel that the dodge timer should be SIGNIFICANTLY longer with much more heavily imposed long-term penalties, and should tie into the player's IP Address or client/computer to prevent someone from just "account hopping" and wasting everyone's time (including their own).
