Autofill is worse then the first pick system that was in play for seasons 1 through 5.

FIrst pick: I prefer top but I'll play support or mid, I don't feel that confident about my jungling skills but I suck at ADC . Over 90% of the time I was able to get one of the positions I was fine with playing.

Season 6: I get to select 2 positions I want to play but if I put support as my secondary choice it will put me as support an excessively high amount of the time. This means that I have to change my secondary position to mid from support so I have a better chance of getting top resulting in queue times being longer due to a lack of people queuing up as support.

Autofill: I get to select 2 positions that I want but there is a good chance that I will be thrown into a position I know I am not good in and have a real chance of not being able to get someone to trade positions with me when this happens because they got one of their desired positions.

Season 2 through 5: queue up for Dominion as basically whatever I want because it lacked ridged lane roles that breed 80% of League's toxic behavior.

Seasons 6 and 7: wake up at night after dreaming Dominion still exists; cry myself back to sleep.

The new system is truly frustrating. I just went through the following scenario:

Game Lobby 1: One of my teammates doesn't pay attention and bans the jungle champ I had chosen. She leaves in embarrassment. Start over. Game Lobby 2: I get mid instead of jungle. (My second choice. This is ok.) Some one leaves again. Start over. Game Lobby 3: I get jungle again. Someone leaves. Start over. Game Lobby 4: I get support. I don't have a rune page set up for support, and I haven't played support for 3 seasons. I leave, because no one benefits from me staying. I won't have fun, and my teammates will be annoyed at my poor performance.

10 minutes, and I have to wait for my lobby leaver penalty to wear off. What a waste of time. I am completely baffled at the decision to force players to fill. You aren't actually shortening any queue times. You are just forcing people to dodge.
